FANGS OF VENGEANCE: A WOLF'S REVENGE のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 1 - チャプター 10

Ravenna's POV "Ravenna.... I really......need your help. I'm in deep trouble and only you can save my soul."My help? Deep trouble? My stomach dropped. Something in his voice and in the way he thrusted into me earlier had told me something was wrong. And now —he needed my help. How could I possibly be of help to the Alpha heir who had thousands of people at his beck and call. But anyways, I lifted my head slowly. I should hear whatever he had to say. "What is it?"He sat up, staring at the ceiling for a long moment. "There was a warrior. One of the Crescent Moon delegates. I… I killed him.”The world stilled. This was really deep trouble like he had said. This was disastrous. The Moon Crescent Pack and Bloodmoon pack had been at war with eachother for a very long time. But yesterday the Moon Crescent had come to the Bloodmoon pack and extended a peaceful alliance. But now that Ronan had killed one of their warriors, it would only fuelled the battle. The air disappeared from my lungs

Ravenna's POV "You look.... wow." Astrid voice was breathy, her mouth wide open in admiration as she stared at me. "Vexley, you're stunning. Honestly, you're even more beautiful than Thalia."I blinked. "Thalia?""Yes," she replied, nodding. "She's Ronan mate and everyone thought she was the prettiest girl in the academy, but I think you're prettier."Of course, I know Thalia quite well. The beautiful Moon Crescent Princess.I turned to the mirror and studied the reflection staring back—silky black gown clinging to every curve, and my long raven-dark hair flowing down my shoulders in waves. The makeup was simple yet elegant, and a pair of striking silver eyes.I smiled faintly. "Thanks, Astrid. Let's hope the crowd agrees."Astrid grinned. "Oh, they will. You might catch Ronan's attention tonight."I didn't respond. Inside my heart twisted painfully at the mere sound of his name. If his name could unravel me this much, then I wondered how I'd react if I eventually saw him.______The

Ravenna's POVThe sun was merciless. Sweat trickled down my forehead as I held the wooden spear tight. We have been training for hours under the sun. Professor Kael stood across from me. I tried not to meet his eyes, but he wouldn't look away. I wondered what he wanted to talk about. Our conversation at the garden unsettled me.You can fool everyone else, but not me. Those words echoed in my mind. My skin prickled as I looked up and saw him looking at me again."Ready?" He called."Yes, sir."He lunged and swung his spear. I blocked the impact and ducked to evade the second attack. He was fast and relentless. His strikes came hard. I had to step back to avoid his blows. My feet slid in the dirt. I ducked under his swing and spun to strike his side. He caught my spear, then twisted it from my grip. It clattered to the ground. I stumbled, but caught myself on one knee.“Not bad,” he said, circling me. “But you’re holding back. Unleash your full potential. Show me what you’re hiding.”H

Ravenna's POVI sat alone in the economics classroom. Astrid was sick and stuck in her dorm with a fever. This was the first time I attended a class alone, without Astrid. The professor strolled around the lecture room as he talked about economics. Heaven knows I was in no mood for learning. I wanted to shake the entire Bloodmoon. Make them pay and ruin them until nothing is left of them. The professor’s lecture about pack trade and resources droned on. Everyone focused on him, but I barely listened. My mind was on Ronan. On my plan, on the power I needed to seize. Astrid’s whispers would have kept my mind distracted from the thought of vengeance."We'll continue in my next class," The professor declared.I rolled my eyes and closed the Economics text in front of me. "Thank Goodness!"Before I could stand, a boy slid into the chair beside me. "Hey, sunshine." I glared at him. My eyes surveyed his messy brown hair and his outfit. He was a warrior in training. "I'm sorry. Have we met

Ravenna's POVI sat by Astrid’s bed in the clinic. The air smelled of herbs and healing crystals. Astrid looked pale beyond recognition. Her skin was like ash and hair was limp on the pillow. Her breaths were uneven. Each one seemed hard.My heart hurt seeing her fight for her life. It felt squeezed tight. Every gasp from her twisted the pain deeper. Healer Varn stood nearby, with his hands feeling her pulse. He was wiry with gray hair. He scribbled notes on parchment with practiced ease. His calm face made me angry.“Tell me what’s wrong, Healer?" I said.He kept writing. “There's a pinch of silver in her blood. It’s tiny, but it's deadly.”I gripped the bed in a mix of fear and rage. “You’re the best healer. please, tell me you’ll save her.”Varn stopped writing and looked at me. His face was tight and he looked like he didn't appreciate my presence in the ward. “I can't make promises. The silver hurts her wolf. It makes her weak, but I’m making an antidote. It’s not easy. Time is s
