Luca's pov I walked fast. Never slowing, never stopping. My eye stung a little from where a branch had whacked me in the face earlier but I paid no mind to it. The farm came into view twelve minutes into my walk. The woods ended in a semi straight line, then there was a thin strip of gravel, probably for wheeled vehicles and then a wooden fence. Unfortunately, it was another pasture. The house itself was three stories, chipped grey painting that might have once been blue, shutter windows, collapsing roof. I couldn't see any movement through any of the windows but I knew there would be shooters there. Because there were shooters surrounding the house. They took strategic positions. No man was more than five feet away from another. From my vantage point, I couldn't tell if they had shooters hidden in the grass as well.
