Luca's pov I walked fast. Never slowing, never stopping. My eye stung a little from where a branch had whacked me in the face earlier but I paid no mind to it. The farm came into view twelve minutes into my walk. The woods ended in a semi straight line, then there was a thin strip of gravel, probably for wheeled vehicles and then a wooden fence. Luca's Pov The smug bastard’s blue eyes stared back at me with detachment and boredom. “You don't look well, Lucas." He drawled. He took two sure footed, even steps towards me. Luca's Pov I was not expecting that. And neither was Ryan. He yelped in pain, raising a hand to his face while his other hand pulled the trigger in reflex. Time slowed. Alex’s Pov There seemed to be a yawn of time between my pulling the trigger and hearing the deafening sound of the bullet exiting the nozzle. Alex’s pov Elias accepted the phone with a sigh. “Stay put." He commanded with a finger in my face and then he exited the van. I could only hear what sounded like angry mumbles through the phone.
