CAELYNA yawn broke through her lips as she walked down the street towards her favourite morning stop on her way to work; Homemade delights. It was just four blocks from her apartment, and she'd wake up every morning to the sweet smell of freshly baked bread and freshly brewed coffee. A smile graced her lips when she met eyes with Barbara; the owners daughter. She stood outside the bakery, sweeping. "Good morning, Caelyn," Barb beamed. "Good morning, Barb."She pushed the glass door open, and the smell of garlic bread hit her like a door to the face. She's going to have a hard time picking breakfast again. Not that it was new. Something tells her this has something to do with a guy. "Why am I so unlucky?" Caelyn breathed. Yup. Definitely a guy. She sighed, then stepped aside for Caelyn to enter. "What is it this time? Another prince charming scammed you? Or is it another shameless two timer? Who do I need to kill?""My students father," Caelyn sighed. She trudged over to the dining table and sat down. Wynn blinked. "Bye," Caelyn said, stepping outside. Her eyes searched the room, then she inched closer. "Take advantage of this. Revenge, budding romance—whatever you want it to be."Wynn smirked. He frowned, head tilting—as if he'd just noticed something. A tear rolled down her cheek, and her hand flew to her face. She quickly looked away, wiping her tears—hoping it would erase the last minute of vulnerability from Ethan's memory. His chair shifted, scraping against the floor as he got up. His body overshadowed her small frame, and he held a hand out to her. She stared at his hand. "What?"He didn't say a word. His gaze was soft, and his lips held a small smile. She couldn't exactly refuse him, could she? She had a small moment of weakness, and he happened to be next to her. She's not hugging him because she wants to, she's hugging him because she has no choice. Her hand moved on its own, resting on Ethan's. Her breath suddenly seized, and she swallowed. Wynn strolled out of her bathroom with a white towel around her neck. Taking a hot bath certainly helped, but a chill lingered in her spine. Ethan's fingertips.
