Liam licked his lips slowly, and he loved that Amelia’s eyes were trained on that small movement.Amelia was flustered. Witches practiced controlling the energies around them and embracing everything as nature provided, which included naked bodies also. Still, centuries of diligent training didn’t prepare her for the way Liam impacted the air around him. He didn’t do it on purpose. It was his presence that radiated power and danger, and Amelia’s insides shook at the thought that the handsome naked male in front of her was her other half. Hers.It was obvious that he was deadly and even though she knew he wouldn’t harm her, she reminded herself to act with caution.Liam tilted his head sideways, and somehow Amelia guessed that he had given her permission to check him out.Her eyes moved slowly over his bare form, and her attention was inevitably drawn to the numerous tattoos that decorated his torso. She wondered what stories were hiding behind each picture etched into his delicious-lo

"I hurt you.", Amelia said to Liam. She bit him in anger, causing his lip to bleed, and she regretted it now.Liam wanted to say how it was not a big deal, but then he changed his mind."It hurts", he said pitifully. "How are you going to make it up to me?""Uhm... I can administer first aid.", she said.Liam refused. "Not necessary. My body heals quickly.""How can I make it up to you then? How about I give you something?" Amelia glanced around the room. "I don’t have much."Liam looked at the silly woman under him. "You have the most precious thing in the world. Give me your heart and I will be a happy man."Amelia blinked when she realized that he was talking about her love. But... didn’t she love him already?"This is new for both of us", he said. "Don’t think that I have an advantage here because my insides are trembling at the thought that I won’t be able to make you happy. Will our lives be perfect? I don’t know. Will I disappoint you? I hope not, but it could happen. A lot of

Keith was about to call out Cassandra’s bluff. Did she really expect him to believe that the Moon Goddess sent a message to Keith? But then he saw that four healers were not on the chairs around the table anymore. They were on their knees, facing Cassandra, with their heads lowered. Were they part of this show?Calla glanced at Keith nervously. "It’s an honor to receive a divine message from the Oracle.", Calla said with an urgent whisper. "You should get on your knees and thank her, and not...""It’s OK", Cassandra interrupted Calla, and then she turned to Keith. "Do you want to hear it or not? Your life will depend on it."Keith was not used to this theatrical behavior. Wasn’t the kneeling too much?"A message from the Moon Goddess, for me?" Keith asked suspiciously. "Just a minute ago, you asked me if I’m Alpha Talia’s guard. You don’t even know my name.""I don’t need to know your name in order to know you are the one.", Cassandra said with confidence. "This is not only about your

The second day with witches passed quickly.Other than talking with Evanora and Axel about portal use, Talia and Drake strolled through the area, and Drake got to see the Silver Flame fountain in person.Drake observed the statue that depicted a female and a wolf standing next to each other while reaching up to the skies. The silvery flame danced where the female’s hand and wolf’s paw connected.Drake was familiar with the scene because Talia shared her memories with him, and he thought how it was strange since this was obviously his first time here, yet he had a feeling of familiarity, like a déjà vu. It was from the time when he didn’t feel the bond, and he left her behind. She came here, desperate to find a cure for his condition, and he just left."What’s going on?" Talia asked Drake when she noticed that his mood was off.His smile didn’t reach his eyes which were full of sadness. The memory Talia shared with him about this place was with Yasmin and Axel having their ceremony as

Four witches came into Talia’s and Drake’s room before the feast. They carried ceremonial garments for both Talia and Drake, a basket of small white flowers, and containers that held golden paste. That reminded Talia of Axel’s and Yasmin’s appearances during their ceremony at the fountain, especially Axel whose body was completely exposed (except for his precious parts).Drake and Talia were both excited about the ceremony, neither aware of the incoming conflicting emotions (jealousy, possessiveness) that will fill the rest of the evening.Talia wanted to have a ceremony, but she didn’t approve of Drake’s delicious body being on display for witches to see. But can it be a proper ceremony if he was covered up?It was a tough choice, but Drake looked only at her, like bare-breasted witches were not in the room, so she allowed it. For now.Drake went on the side to change into the skimpy garment which was actually just a string holding two strips of clothing to cover his firm ass and the
