" So your stance is that I marry you? Really?" I ask neither demanding answers or clarity. I was awed by his demand which seems unwavering. " What if I say No?" " No? You can't say that either. You rather prefer I tell your mother" His reply disgusted me. " Threatening me huh?" " I can sense the faint of disgust in your voice Aria. Listen I'm not forcing you but if you must survive you must be with me or they'll come for you" he says but this time his voice serious. " What do you mean "They"?" This time my heart etched with fear. I didn't have the combat skill to defend myself talk more of surviving. " I could increase it to ten million if you want just stay with me" he says the last word in a whisper like he was seeking comfort in my reply. " No Klaus I can't. I cannot marry someone I don't love and besides I have a lot to do". " I can make you fall in love with me" he says swallowing hard. " No Klaus. This is insane" I say as I stood up and walked towar

That was the last cake and I wanted to get it for my mom. She loves cake and this is all that I could do at least before she goes in for surgery. " Hey, Do you have a death wish? Can't you see someone requested for it first". Liana said, her voice cracking up from the anger within. " That I don't care. My babe wants it and she'll get it". Jack's voice irritated me to my bones and it left me to wonder how that pretty lady put up with him even with his attitude. That was one hell of a work. " You can't be serious. I was here before you. Say something" I directed the last word to the server and all I met was a fidgeting girl avoiding eye contact with me, proceeding to pack the order for him. " Sorry ma'am. The order belongs to who pays first and if you can wait for like an hour. Another would be ready" She says, her voice shaky. " But none of us has paid. Make it make sense" . From the tone of her voice I knew she was scared and whoever this man was. He was influentia

~Aria~ I'd like to distract myself from this feeling but I am stuck, stuck looking at him. I'd wish for my gaze to flicker but it didn't instead it was glued. His face as smooth as fresh milk, his eyes dark yet luring. His lips oh gosh I couldn't understand myself. All eyes were on me and maybe I know why. If the security footage gets here I fear what would happen. I haven't seen his ruthlessness but I swear someone is going home jobless today. " Sir the security footage is here" Charles spoke from the crowd. My heart raced as his gaze flickered to something dangerous. " What did you do to her?" he says, his gaze landing on Jack and his supposed girlfriend. " I....I..." Seeing Jack stammer stunned me. He was such a wide lipped person and now his words are stuck in his throat. " Mr Blackwood I....." The Manager's face turned pale. it had gotten to his part of interference and Nik saw how he was hostile towards me. " You told your dead ass security to touch m

~Niklaus~ I left as soon as I had settled the case. I lost my appetite for food after seeing how settled she was— Maybe her smile gave me satisfaction and of course her confused look. I smirked thinking of how bothered she'll be owning a restaurant. Was I too forward? but that's the least I could at least do. Being possessive was iny nature. Charles open the car for me to sit and off to the hospital we went. In no time we arrived at the hospital. It wasn't as far as I had thought. I and Charles both highlighted from the car walking towards the private elevator that'll take us to the doctor's office. Charles had booked an appointment before time, the doctor will be expecting us. " Sir, we are here!!" Charles says turning to me as he notices my gaze unstable, lost in thought. " Hmm" I reply, walking out, My right hands stuffed at the right side of the pocket. I stood tall, my tailored suit accentuating my broad shoulders, exuding an air of confidence. " You can come in"
