Lahat ng Kabanata ng Claimed By The Ruthless Enzo : Kabanata 71 - Kabanata 80

{Naomi POV}"What are you going to do now?" Chloe asked, her voice heavy with worry. Even without seeing her face, I knew she was panicking.I had been on the call with her for over an hour now. We’d gone in circles about what could happen if I didn’t do what Brian wanted. Every solution we came up with led to another dead end.I brushed my hand through my dark hair and let out a long, tired sigh. “I don’t know, Chloe. This is more complicated than I thought. And I’m scared.”“I feel your pain, Naomi,” she said softly. “This is why I never wanted you to steal from Enzo in the first place. I didn’t have a good feeling about it. The Vitales are evil people, and I’ve been around them long enough to know that.”I glanced toward the door, half-expecting to see Maya’s shadow eavesdropping or Enzo barging in like he usually does. “I should’ve listened to you,” I muttered, my voice barely above a whisper. “But now… I’m just confused.”The sound of footsteps echoed closer. My stomach twisted.

{Naomi POV}I turned on the bed, my hand stretching out lazily with my eyes still closed, reaching for anything soft to cling to. My fingers brushed against something fluffy and square-shaped. Without thinking, I pulled it closer, burying my face in it.A familiar scent of chocolate musk filled my nose, Enzo’s cologne. My eyes flew open instantly, and memories of last night rushed back. The warmth of his chest beneath my cheek, the rhythm of his heartbeat as I drifted off to sleep, and the taste of his lips lingered faintly on mine.I sat up quickly, putting the pillow I was snuggling not quite long away. The other side of the bed was empty, the sheets already cool. The quietness in the room made it obvious that Enzo must've had woken up long before I did.Yawning, I stretched, brushing a hand through my hair as I made my way to the bathroom. The cold tiles against my bare feet made me shiver. When I caught sight of my reflection in the mirror, I froze. My cheeks were still a little f

{Enzo POV}The soft music playing in the diner set the mood right as I sat on one of the chairs near the corner. The golden lights above reflected off the polished wine glasses, creating tiny glimmers that danced across the tablecloth. I glanced down at my wristwatch, they should be here any minute now.A small, unfamiliar excitement bubbled in my gut, and I found myself wondering if I was really the one feeling this way. I tapped my fingers lightly against the table, scrolling absentmindedly through the diamond accessory catalog on my tablet. I wasn’t even seeing what was on the screen, my mind was elsewhere. When I finally heard the sound of footsteps approaching, I looked up. The glass door slid open, and time froze for a moment.Naomi stepped inside. Her eyes darted around the room, a flicker of unease in them, before they landed on me. For a second, she didn’t move. She just stood there, framed by the doorway, her soft curls brushing against her cheeks and the elegant dress huggi

{Naomi POV}The moment the car stopped in front of the Vitale mansion, I took a relaxing breath, almost as if this was the safest place for me to be, even though deep down, I knew it was the lion’s den itself.Mateo got out from the driver’s side and came over to open the car door for me. I stepped out slowly, the cold evening air brushing against my skin, sending a chill through my body. I exhaled softly, my eyes lifting to the grand mansion before me.I felt Enzo’s hand intertwine with mine. I looked at his face in shock, and he gave me a faint smile. “You’re safe here,” he said in a calm but firm voice. “I won’t let anyone hurt you or come close to you.”I nodded with a weak smile, though I knew that wasn’t entirely true. Brian was already hurting me, and no matter how much I tried to stay close to Enzo for protection, my mother was still out there, and that scared me even more.We walked inside hand in hand, and for a moment, I couldn’t help but feel how strange it was. Since when

{Naomi POV}Enzo sat back in his chair, his gaze fixed on the papers scattered across the desk, notes, photographs, scribbled details that all looked like pieces of a puzzle that refused to fit. I took a seat opposite him, my fingers fidgeting with the hem of my sleeve.“What are you working on?” I asked softly. He lifted his head and studied me for a moment before answering. “I’ve been trying to uncover my father’s killer ever since the incident,” he said, his tone calm but edged with frustration. “But it feels like every time I get close, something just pull me off. Yesterday…” he paused, his jaw tightening, “I saw the same person who killed my father. He was the one who shot at us.”My breath caught. “That means the person must be close to your family?”“That’s what I thought too,” he muttered, leaning forward to glance at the files again. “But I’ve been at this all night and still can’t put a face to the name. Every trail leads back to someone inside, someone who’s been in this fa
