Chapter 31 Piper's POV The next morning, I woke up to a bright light shining on my face. My mind skipped at first but as I slowly opened my eyes, I realized it was just the sunlight cracking through the window curtains. In an instant, the memories of what transpired between Mr Langford and I last night flooded my head. “Ugh…” I groaned. A sharp tingle sparked in my legs and just as I was about to check out what it was, I felt a sudden rush of irritation rise up in my stomach and move all the way up to my throat. My eyes widened in shock and fear at the same but before I could even think, a bitter taste filled my mouth. I pushed my duvet off and jumped out of bed, diving straight into the bathroom. A loud, guttural retching sound boomed from my mouth as I emptied the content of my stomach into the sink. My head suddenly went light…almost like I was afloat for a minute.
