Audrey’s POV I stood there looking at Adrian with confusion on my face when I heard sound that feels like branches from the trees were snapping. Then the safehouse lit up with eyes. Yellow and red, gleaming like sparks in the dark. There were not wolves like the ones I’d grown up pretending not to notice in Ravenfalls. And not pack, these were trained, hard and muscled scarred things with sharp teeth and fearful face. Adrian was the first to move.
