AndyI'm not the most alert person first thing in the morning, in fact, it usually takes me a good half hour to be considered a functioning human being, after I've woken up. Which wouldn't normally be an issue but there was one part of my anatomy that didn't require time to become invigorated and well...up. As soon as I became aware of the tent that was pitched in my boxers, I tried to, very slowly, pull myself back from where I'd been spooning a sleeping Claire. She'd only just worked up the courage to touch my dick last night; she didn't need to wake up to it knifing her in the back. This wasn't going to be an easy task because my arm was trapped under her body and I have no idea if she's a heavy or light sleeper so if I move too fast it could wake her up and then she'd wonder why I'm shifting away from her, I had to try and make it look like I naturally moved in the night. My movements were very delicate as I began to pull back, as if I was handling a bomb that could detonate at

SamThe Chelsea versus Liverpool game should have my full attention, but I was constantly distracted, checking the time on my phone. It was just after eleven, but the minutes felt like hours as I waited for Claire to return home. This was the part of parenthood that no one ever warns you about, the turmoil you go through when your teenage daughter starts dating. It's not that I don't like Andrew; he's a good kid, smart and focused, but I was a teenage boy once, too, so I know for a fact that they have a one track mind and the thought of Andrew Stephenson thinking about my little girl as an object, made me want to throttle him. I'd be an arsehole if I ever admitted it out loud, but my biggest fear was that history was going to repeat itself, that another Stephenson boy was going to shatter the heart of someone I love and leave her broken. Claire may be very strong-willed, but she's never had anyone destroy her trust. She'd never tasted the bitterness of pain; she's always had Veronic

ClaireI'd spent almost the entire weekend with Andy, and in that short amount of time, he had taught me so much, not only about my own body but his as well. Being with Andy made me want to push my boundaries and explore my sexual side. We were building the foundations of trust, respect and love, which is what I needed to feel secure in going further. The more time we spent together, the deeper I was falling for him, his crystal blue eyes that felt like he could see right into my soul, his gorgeous smile that made me want to kiss his mouth and how he would find subtle ways to touch me, like brushing his hand against mine or placing my loose hair behind my ear. I was becoming addicted to being around him, but also very aware that the weekend was drawing to a close, which meant that, pretty soon, Andy would go back home and we'd only see each other during school times. I wasn't ready for him to go home, but when I got a call from my cousin Ed, requesting that I come into Irish Ink tat

AndyI'd managed to avoid Dad on Sunday by getting home from Claire's house late. Could you blame me, though? Who in their right mind would want to walk away from having fun with their gorgeous girlfriend to go home and fight with their dad over his past mistakes? Being around Claire was changing me. I wasn't shackled with pain anymore. Sure, it was still in me, but I felt like, for the first time in months, I had control over it. Claire made me want to participate in life again, not just sit on the sidelines and watch as it passes me by. Her love was like a drug, one that could pull me out of the dark hell I'd been in since Pia died. The more time I spent with her, the more I craved her when we were separated. I'd never felt this way about anyone before, not even Pia, which makes me feel a sting of guilt because I realise now that the attraction I had to Claire was present while I was with Pia. Sure, I may have thought Claire was a snob, walking around thinking she was better than e

Claire Your birthday is the most wonderful and special day of the year, a whole 24 hours of indulging in celebration simply for the fact that you were born on that day. I love my birthday, I love blowing out the candles and unwrapping my gifts, but mostly I love that it's the one day of the year that my pain in the arse brother is forced, by our parents, to be nice to me all day. This wasn't just any ordinary birthday this year, either. Today I am officially eighteen years old, which is essentially the same as being a key that unlocks the door into adulthood. I can legally walk into a liquor store and buy alcohol, I can join the military and go fight for my country, I can buy lottery tickets or gamble if I wish to and I now legally have to register myself on the electoral roll. I woke up this morning with a sense of renewal, as if, while I was sleeping, I discarded the part of me that made everyone in my life view me as a child. No longer would I be held back by 'when you're older
