Chapter Sixty Nine : Reassured Her Pov That night was heavy. The pack was quiet, too quiet, like everyone was holding their breath. Outside, the fire that burned in the middle of the field was already low, only smoke rising into the dark sky. Some guards moved about, but most people had gone to sleep, waiting for tomorrow.
