Lahat ng Kabanata ng RISEN: THE LYCAN PRINCESS: Kabanata 171 - Kabanata 180

Zane I walked into the barracks and asked my way around to the conference room. There was too much to cover and too little time. Some recruits pointed in the right direction, and I finally made my way to the door that had a sign “CF1” I guess that stands for Conference Room 1. I knocked on the door and opened it. I slowly entered the room, expecting the full D´Angelo male force, Dominic, and even the dragon cousins, yet the room was empty, with only two chairs being occupied. Matei and Dominic were there, their drinks in coasters, waiting for me.“Sorry, this is my first time in the barracks. I got a bit lost.” I said, and Dominic checked the time and nodded.“You are early by five,” he said matter-of-factly. I looked at my phone and realised that he was right, immediately making a way to an empty chair across from Dominic.“Mat wanted to join, b

Elisa D´Angelo I have been a bit on edge. Urien has been busy working on the new armour design, and every time he comes back home, he is excited about the progress they have made. He is all excited about it, and yet, I can only see the man behind all that, the one who holds me at night, and doesn't let go. The man who makes me feel safe, the one who promised peace and a life full of love, and who has delivered in every way. Not the powerful Onyx dragon, but just a man.“So, Zane and Roger will start training with Dominic, and I think I should join them,” he said, and I looked up at him. He was already a capable warrior, if I am not mistaken. He was already in the Special Ops teams, so there was no need for him to continue training with the intensity Zane and Roger require.“Why?” I muttered, and he sighed.“Becuase it is not only training, darling… it is bonding,” he wrapped his arms around me, and I sighed. I had no ide

Matei D´Angelo I moved along with Dominic to check all three of my new family members. As he said, Urien was very skilled and a natural leader. I heard how he refused to be a leader of a team, and that grounded me, even when he had the abilities to lead, he was choosing to stay behind, beside the people he felt closer to, and that was admirable, other would have jumped to the chance to prove himself, to shine, and boos his ego, but not Urien. His temperament was outgoing and the complete opposite of my sister's, yet he was measured and humble, just like her, and I realized that those differences and similarities were the places they thrived. I observed and realized that Roger was calm, attentive… thoughtful. He was learning to lean on his supernatural powers and instincts; I was sure he was the one having the hardest time out there in the sparring ring. He was hesitating, doubting himself, when he should be using the best of all

Elisa D´Angelo Urien has been unusually quiet… even after my offer of having sex after breakfast, he seems off. After clearing the plates, I walked towards him. He was sitting on a kitchen high chair close to the island, and I wrapped my arms around his neck, tucking myself between his legs. “What is it?" I asked, plain and simple. There was no other way of knowing. He took a deep breath and sighed. He was bracing for impact, and I knew then and there that he wanted to tell me something important, something that maybe would get me upset.“I spoke to Matt today,” he said, and I raised my eyebrows. That was definitely nothing unusual. My brothers spend half their time in the barracks, and the rest of their time between their offices, work, and families.“Alright? Did he say something? Did he piss you off?” I tried to dig a bit more information, and he took a deep bre

Elisa D´Angelo Urien would be skipping training today, and he asked me to tag along to see the punishment handed to Fermin, Wyatt, and Hunter.I didn´t know how to feel. This would be the first time I would be facing them, be close to them, and even when I should be certain that their magic didn´t have any effect on me, I was hesitant, at best. I paced the room, waiting for Urien to be ready, and when he was out of our bedroom, I almost jumped in fright. “Hey, it´s me…” he wrapped his arms around me, and I cuddled into his chest.“If you feel like it is too much, you can step out, or stay here…” he said, and I nodded. “I just… I don´t know how to feel, what to feel…” I mumbled, and he sighed.“I am not going to force you to do this… I would want you to be there, but as I said, this is not someth
