Chapter Fifty OneLost CustodyElena’s POVThe moment the judge spoke, my heart stopped. My chest felt unbearably heavy, as though hundreds of stones had been piled onto it. I tried to breathe. I tried to understand his words, but they barely reached my ears.“Based on the evidence presented,” the judge said slowly, his voice echoing through the courtroom, “it is clear that the mother loves her children. However, the father also cares deeply for them. It has also been shown that the mother is not emotionally stable. The separation is affecting the children. Therefore, until further evidence is presented, custody is awarded to the father.”The world tilted around me.I blinked rapidly, hoping it was some kind of mistake. Hoping I had heard wrong. Hoping that when I opened my eyes again, everything would return to normal and Ela and Eli would still be mine. But then the judge’s gavel struck. The words hit me again.Custody awarded to the father. My knees nearly gave out beneath me. My h

Chapter 53 — I Don’t Need YouElena’s POVI heard my name being called.“Elena!”I froze for a second. That voice.I knew it far too well. But I didn’t turn around.I tightened my grip on my bag and kept walking toward my car.“Elena, please!”My heart started pounding rapidly, but not because I was happy. Not because I missed him.No.Because I was exhausted.Exhausted from the pain.Exhausted from men who claimed to love me while destroying my life at the same time.I opened the car door.“I’ve been looking for you this whole time!” Ben shouted as he ran toward me.I ignored him.If I looked at him, I might cry.And if I cried, I might become weak again.I could not afford to be weak anymore. Not while my children were somewhere out there crying. Not while Ela might be asking, “Where’s Mommy?”Not while Eli was holding his little sister and trying to stay strong, just like he always did.“Elena,” Ben said again, now standing only a few steps away from me. “I checked everything. I in

Chapter — For My ChildrenElena’s POVI took a deep breath as I stood in the doorway. My hands were trembling, but my heart remained steady. Every muscle in my body wanted to run away. Every thought inside my head screamed at me to turn around, to escape, to give up before it was too late. But then I remembered their little hands — Ela’s soft fingers wrapped around mine, Eli tugging gently at my sleeve, their small hearts trusting me completely. I had promised them that I would come back. I would never leave them again. Not for anything in this world.I straightened my shoulders and looked directly into Daniel’s eyes. The cold, calculating man who had taken everything from me. Fear twisted painfully inside my stomach, but I forced myself to stand tall.“What are you doing in my house?” Daniel’s voice was icy and controlled. He had just walked in, carrying himself with the confidence of a man who believed he owned everything around him, and his eyes studied me like a predator watching

Chapterb57 — A Weak ManBen’s Point of ViewThe room was dark and I didn’t turn on the light.didn’t deserve the light. The curtains were half drawn, and the faint glow from outside barely brushed the walls. The silence in the room felt loud, too loud, pressing against my ears, pressing against my chest.I stood in front of the mirror for a long time, staring. The man looking back at me didn’t feel like me.His eyes were tired, red, empty. After everything I promised her… after everything I swore I would do…Daniel took my children. My children. The words burned inside me.They were not born from me, but they were mine. I loved them. I protected them. I held them when they cried. I carried them on my shoulders. I promised them nothing would ever happen to them. And now? They were inside Daniel’s house. And Elena…My Elena was under his roof. That thought felt like a blade slowly sinking into my chest.I dragged my hands through my hair harshly.“What kind of man are you?” I whispered.

Chapter 59 — For My ChildrenElena’s POVI stood outside Daniel’s door, my heart pounding so hard it felt as though it might burst from my chest. My hands were shaking so badly that I had to grip the doorframe just to keep myself steady. Every step I had taken down the hallway felt heavier than the one before. I had made my decision, even though every part of me was screaming not to.If I give him my companies, what will Ela and Eli have when they grow up? The thought echoed bitterly in my mind. Everything I had built was for them. I could not let him take it all away. I could not destroy the future I had worked so hard to secure for my children. And the other choice...My stomach twisted violently.Maybe I could do it.Maybe I could give him what he wanted for a single night and get my children back. The thought filled me with fear and disgust, but it would not leave me alone.I stopped in front of the door and struggled to breathe. Before coming here, I had checked on the children o
