Lahat ng Kabanata ng REJECTED BY HIM, DESIRED BY HIS TWIN : Kabanata 31 - Kabanata 40

Celeste's POV If you asked me, I should have known it was all a front and maybe I did and there was the part of me that had given him the benefit of the doubt because now, as I tried to resume like all was well, I felt disappointment settle in my gut. Once again he had proven to me why he wasn't the man I thought he was. Why he shouldn't be given another chance into my life to ruin it all again. All the pretence and still, he had made the same mistake again. I was grateful for one part of the plan, the part of me that had known this would happen and had let it happen. After all I could have easily said I wouldn't tell anyone and the issue would have died. No, I didn't do that for a reason and it was this. The people in this restaurant, at least some of them had seen what had just happened and they had noted it down - some might have even had it on camera and that was excellent. This meant that it could go on the news and if it didn't go there, whenever I decided to come out with

Celeste's POV He walked faster as I ran behind him, my hands pulling at his sleeves for him to stop but he was determined. If his hard face wasn't enough to see that, his clenched jaw was, including the fact he didn't turn once to look at me. “Please stop. You can't do whatever you're thinking. It'll cause damage to your second goal and we can't have that. You know" I pleaded, hoping he would see some of the truth in my words. He looked at me for a brief moment, not stopping his walk, “I don't care what it does. I can't let him get away with this Celeste, not again" he continued purposefully and then barged into Ragnar's office. Ragnar jumped up at the bang, Sarafina on his lap jumped up as well, startled as her eyes went from Wilfrick to me and back. “What is happening here Wulfrick? How dare you barge in?" Ragnar asked, standing up tall when his brother came close to him. Before he could do anything else, Wulfrick had punched him hard, twisting his head in a crunch that I could

Celeste's POV We stared at him, determination in my core as well. We wouldn't let these people suffer like that again and I didn't care if it meant going against Ragnar. After all, standing with him hadn't earned me anything. “But what do we do to stop this? They keep attacking even when we try to guard the people, it's as if they somehow know they're weak" Eva explained to Ragnar since I already knew everything that was happening. He looked though, looking out to the distance first before he began to pace the large area. Since the other people had dispersed to go arrange themselves, it was just the three of us and while he was thinking, so was I. I needed an idea to jump out at me, something that would guarantee we caught them or killed them at least. No matter what it was - at that point, I didn't mind if I had to risk my life, I would happily do so. He stopped pacing and came back to both of us who were trying to think as well. “Why are we thinking so hard when what we have to

Celeste's POV He stared at me for a moment, his breath coming out in short and hard pants. “What just happened out there?" He asked first, stopping to stand in front of me with his hands in his pockets. I couldn't meet his eyes, I knew what he was asking and I wasn't ready to answer him, not as truthfully as I needed to anyway. For a moment I couldn't speak until he put his face right in front of mine, “I just asked you a question! What just happened?" His voice raised and I flinched, moving back. There was no ignoring him, my eyes fell to the ground, “We had to Ragnar. They were dying, if we didn't do that today then we would be condemning them to a life of death” I said. His eyes darkened even more than they had before, "Those were my pack members. Don't you think I knew what they needed or did you think that you knew that better than me?” He asked, his voice dropped again. My heart began to beat faster as his voice dropped lower. He was getting angrier and it wasn't going to b

Celeste's POV At first the fight didn't come to our hut until a few minutes later when a body slammed into the door. There was a loud thud as its hinges shook and then another hit. Inside the house, we all readied ourselves for attack. Two wolves were positioned beside the door and then two were waiting. It didn't take long for the door to break off its hinges, splintering on the floor and then the rogues rushed inside. They hadn't expected the attack waiting for them and it was clear in the way they weren't ready. Two of them had been about to rush in until they saw the other wolves. Their eyes widened as they slowly tiptoed back. Maybe it was their way of being cautious but it definitely wasn't working. They didn't get far, from behind them two other of our wolves, claws and fangs out, rushed towards them and tore them to pieces. We went into the main village where a lot of the fight was happening. The moon was full and everybody was ready to battle to death. Growls filled the
