Chapter 151Author's POV It was a quiet limbo, like she was suspended in space. The darkness surrounded her, everywhere she turned it was dark. She didn't know what to do, couldn't move, couldn't speak. So even if her soul cried out, nothing rang out. She tried to search for something, anything to hold onto but there wasn't. This wasn't her, she knew it. This was something else. Not sure what exactly it was but she knew it wasn't. She didn't feel like herself and she wanted so desperately to leave here. It felt like a dream at first. When she had first seen, or appeared as it seemed. But time had passed - time she wasn't sure of and nothing had changed. She had stayed the same, suspended in this empty and dark place. Her body felt weightless, she couldn't feel a thing. Even though she heard people move around her, voices and chants, she couldn't respond. She wanted to beg someone to do something, anything at all. Of all her sins, this was the worst way to pay for it. She couldn't

Chapter 153Author's POV Lucian stopped him before he could go any further. He raised a hand up, “I don't want to hear it. Not right now anyway" he looked down at his watch in show. It was a lie, just like everything Cassian had told him before. “I have less that five minutes to get somewhere, could we do it sometime else?" He didn't wait for an answer before walking briskly away. Cassian remained standing there, watching his brother disappear around the corner - lonely and dejected. He had thought this was the chance to get rid of the guilt but clearly not. Maybe he would say it to Dorian. But even the though of it broke him even more. More than Lucian, he couldn't imagine breaking Dorian's heart like that. They had a different kind of bond, he was the glue that held them all together. If he lost Dorian, he wasn't sure what he would do. As Lucian walked away, the anher worsened itself. He couldn't believe it. His brother was being a coward. He was going to tell the truth now, aft

Chapter 155Author's POV Lucian had marked the spot. It lay just under the full moon. It wouldn't surprise him if his father had prepared this very spot for that reason. It was out in the fields, not far from the house but hidden so that people inside couldn't see whatever happened there. It was a huge and open field. He would be able to hold both Dorian and Cassian comfortably here. Unless his father realized too early which he was making sure he wouldn't. It was why Lyra was here and he was trying to bring out the Baldwin secret. With chaos inside the house and everyone occupied, his father would realize too late what was happening. By the time he knew it, his precious Cassian would be gone and Lucian would be the chosen vessel. He couldn't help his smile at the thought. The disappointment that would flood his father. The power that would now be his. With no other choice left, Lucian would be named heir and then he would make sure his father lived his last day. It had been okan

Chapter 157Author's POV He had spent ages searching in this huge mansion but finally he had found it. Alpha Caden had smartly hidden the crest somewhere knew wouldn't look normally. Justin held it in his hand, proud of his efforts. It hadn't gone to nothing. Despite the fact that he had hit a couple of obstacles especially the witch lyra feared - Rhea. She had been too observant. He knew she was close to figuring the truth out and he would be damned if he let it happen. Now that the throne was so close to his hands, it wouldn't be snatched away again. Thankfully, everyone else had been preoccupied, they hadn't noticed his own preparations. As he approached the exit, he made sure he wasn't being watched. They shouldn't find about where he was going. He knew she was waiting just beyond the gates. He had the crest, all he needed to add was the spell. The palace would be sealed and then it would be his when only his people could come in. He found her as expected, along with the two

Chapter 159Author's POV Dorian had been busy all day but he had noticed something. He hadn't seen Rhea all day and now it nagged him. He was behind worried. He had searched in her room, the library where she spent a lot of time recently and yet there had been nothing. He had even gone to the garden. All day and she was missing. He knew the blood moon was approaching in a few hours and her heat would rise. If she wasn't close to a h of them, she could go insane. The blood moon combined with three mates was enough to do that. He needed to find her and right now, even on the grounds of the palace, there was no indication to that. He couldn't even catch a scent of her. That meant she had been gone for a pretty long, the worry deepeened itself. He was still searching when he heard someone call out from behind him. He turned around to see it was Lucian approaching breathless and seemingly tired. He raised a brow up, “Been looking for her?" He asked. Lucian raised a brow up in confusio
