LILA Oh no, I sigh when Charlie steps out looking at me like she caught me red handed which she probably did. “Charlie… what are you doing here ?” I hoped to goddess that she didn’t hear what I said. Charlie smiles and shrugs. “You guys promised you were going to keep me company, remember ? I hate all these adult events, they are so boring!” For the first time I actually agree with this teenage girl, honestly I would rather be anywhere else. Andrea shoots me a look and forces a smile on her face.”Sure thing Charlie, what do you have in mind?, lead the way ! ” •• When we get back to the mansion Sebastian barely says a word to me just saying something about a trip and not specifying when he will be back. “Don’t get into trouble,” he warns, giving me a death glare before he leaves the room. I’m a bit bummed because I wanted to get him back but I’m happy at least those stupid guards will give me some space. As I lay my head to rest a loud shrill wakes me up and the doo

LILA“Oh goddess Lila, what happened to you?” Nina says as she enters the room with grandmother. All of a sudden my mind goes blank, I struggle to think of a lie to give them to explain the bleeding.Obviously it’s due to the contraception procedure but they can never know.“Isn’t it obvious, she had a miscarriage !”“Just act along,” Koko says in my mind and I agree with her.“Yes grandmother! i wanted the pregnancy to be a surprise but it seems like I’ve ruined everything,” I force tears to fall from my eyes.“Oh no dear it’s not your fault. Maids, come and help your Luna, quickly!” Grandma says as Nina hugs me reassuringly. For the rest of the day I’m forced to stay in bed and I can't help but groan when a servant comes to serve me a disgusting soup for pain relief.“Just drink this dear, you will feel better in no time.”Nina rubs my head and grandma holds my hand looking at me with loving eyes. “Just look how the bitch is acting like we are all friends now,” Koko chimes and I fo

LILA “Oh goodness, Alpha what happened to you !” I scream at the sight of Sebastian vomiting even if I know exactly what happened. It was just a little poison, nothing crazy. “Maids, guards please come and help your Alpha!" I force tears to come out of my eyes. The maids and guards arrive and help him up while I continue to cry. “Oh goddess, who would have done this to my son !”Nina cries, hugging me tightly. I force myself to not shudder from her body on mine. Ew! The doctor arrives and tells us that it was just wine poisoning . “Luna, I suggest you fire your servants and get new ones so the Alpha’s life is not put at risk, this has weakened his immune system but he’ll be fine.” “Oh thank you so much Doctor, goddess bless you,” Grandma says. “It’s alright, just give him these medicines and he’ll be okay in a week.” For the next three days I help nurse Sebastian back to health and he always gets so irritated when i come to serve him that it makes my wolf laugh. “Did I tell

LILA“Ahhhh!” I scream falling to the ground. I hit my waist and the pain is so agonizing that it takes Koko more than a minute to heal me.“Who the freak are you?!” I groan but no one responds to me.I start to feel a bit scared for a second until Andrea meets me on the floor.“Girl, oh my goddess are you okay?”“Yes I’m fine now, I wonder who that was?” I mumble.I thought that after my deal with Galvin corporation he would stop putting his attacks on me so it’s odd.“What are you guys doing on the floor, are you children and why are you playing in the dark?” Sebastian scowls.“No we weren’t Alpha it’s just-” Andrea stutters.“Save the explanations for later, Lila follow me we need to talk.”I force myself to hold back a groan when i follow him while Andrea makes lovey dovey eyes at us.Eww, I shiver.“With everything that’s happening we need to appear as a unite front and make alliances with other companies, do you understand ?” he says the words slowly like I’m a five year old.H

Next time inform me, is that clear?”Nic and Sebastian share brief eye contact before Nicolas bows.“Yes Alpha, it will never happen again. Please forgive me.”Thankfully he drops it and leaves us.•••“Wake up girl wake up!” Nicolas pulls the pillow out of my head.“What the fuck Nic, I need my rest!” I groan. He hands me his phone , “No time to rest cause we are in deep shit.”“No no no no!,” I groan while reading the headlines“Rumor has it that Galvin Corporation has been selling counterfeit products and now we’ve caught them.
