Semua Bab FORCED TO BE A MAFIA QUEEN: Bab 21 - Bab 30

SIERRA“I swear,” I sharply whispered into the earpiece. “If you don’t come in time, I’ll give my virginity to this pig just to spite you.”Silence.Then a crackle of static. Before I hear his dangerous voice.“Don’t play games with me.”I smirked and slid the earpiece out, hiding it back inside the coat. If he were coming, he would have to do it without my voice guiding him. I was done begging.I stood slowly when Sergei met my eyes. I turned slightly, letting the coat slip just enough to show the curve of my shoulder. He paused in the doorway as his eyes narrowed.“You’re calm now,” he said when he stepped inside and closed the door behind him.I softly smiled. “Shouldn’t I be?”He slowly walked toward me, like a bear circling a flame. “Your husband gave you up. You’re mine tonight.”I turned to face him fully, tilting my head. “Then let’s make it interesting.”He looked stunned. I could see the shift in his posture. The confusion and intrigue. I walked past him, trailing a finger

SIERRAI woke up to the scent of warm bread and something savory. I didn’t move as my body ached in places I hadn’t noticed before. My shoulders, my thighs, and the base of my neck. The events of last night pressed down on me like a weight.I opened my eyes slowly. The curtains were drawn, and a soft morning light was filtering through the lace. The bed was made neatly as if someone had tucked me in. I looked around and found something on the center table. It's steam curled from a tray of food: eggs, toast, fruit, and a pot of tea. My stomach growled before my mind could catch up. I slipped out of bed, padded barefoot across the floor, and sat at the table. I devoured the food like I hadn’t eaten in days. Every bite grounded me, reminded me I was still alive and still here.Thank God, I'm still alive. Before I even finished the food, I noticed the pile of clothes on the couch. A stack of shirts and sweatpants.I stood slowly and picked up the top shirt. It was soft cotton and famili

SIERRAWe fell into step together, side by side on the winding path that led back to the mansion. Neither of us spoke.I glanced at him, then looked away. “Your grandfather,” I finally said, breaking the silence. “He looked at me like I was a stain.”His jaw tightened, but his eyes stayed forward.“He’s angry at me, not at you.”I frowned. “Why?”He exhaled slowly. “Because I killed the Russian.”I stopped walking. “You mean Sergei?” He nodded. “He broke the rule, right? And you only took what your family belongings.”“I know.”“Then why is your grandfather angry? He should be proud of you.”He chuckled and turned to me.“Because in his world, you don’t kill without permission. Especially not someone powerful.”I felt a chill crawl down my spine. “So what happens now?”He looked away. “I’ll be punished.”“Punished? By your own family?”“This isn’t just a family, Sierra. It’s a system. A legacy. My grandfather built it and I broke one of his rules.”I swallowed hard and kept my expres

ALESSANDRO “F*ck, my head.”I groan as I slowly sit on the bed– bed? I'm on the bed?I look around, confused at my surroundings. I'm obviously in my own room, wrapped in heavy and thick blankets. I swallowed hard as I felt my throat dry. My body feels weak, heavy, and cold, still trembling from the cold storm last night.Did I faint?I looked at my red and bruised wrists because they’re aching a bit. The rope mark is still visible around it, but I'm confused because the bruise was not that severe.Dimitri tied my wrists tightly as if he held a grudge against me. Speaking of, Dimitri came into my room with a cigarette in his mouth and a phone in his hand. “Don’t smoke in my room, bastard,” I hoarsely said.He stopped and looked at me lazily before he slumped on the couch and crossed his legs.He really did not put out the cigarette.“Congratulations on surviving death, bro,” he smirked.“Were the twenty-four hours done without my knowledge?”“Twenty-four hours my ass.” He stood and

SIERRAMy eyes widened at what he said. I immediately shoved him harder this time. He rolled off, lying beside me now. I sat up with my heart pounding and flushed cheeks.“You’re crazy!”He smiled with his half-lidded eyes. “You’re really beautiful when you’re furious.”I grabbed the pillow and smacked him with it. He only laughed while coughing. I stopped hitting him and sighed.I can't believe he made a joke despite his condition.“Rest,” I quietly said. “Before I really lose my mind,” I whispered. He closed his eyes, but his hand found mine beneath the blanket. But the door suddenly creaked open and I barely had time to pull my hand before his cousin stepped in.Dimitri's eyes flicked between my flushed face and Alessandro, who was lying on the bed with his one eye open, darting at Dimitri. Slowly, Dimitri's one brow lifted in silent amusement.“Sorry to interrupt,” his voice laced with mischief. “But there’s a woman here to see you, bro.”I pulled my hand away and gazed at Alessa
