ESME'S POV My head throbbed painfully as I forced my eyes open. Everything around me was dark, shifting, and loud. The air reeked of sweat and gasoline. My body moved with every bump, every curve. It took me a few seconds to realize I was inside a moving car or a van, maybe. My wrists were bound tightly in front of me, the metal biting into my skin with each movement. My throat felt dry, my lips cracked. I tried to steady my breathing, but panic built up fast. “What… what’s happening?” I whispered, my voice trembling. No one answered. Two men sat in front, their shoulders broad, their faces hidden by the dark tint of their masks. The driver’s eyes flicked up at me once in the rearview mirror but turned away immediately, like he was staring at something already dead. “Please…” My voice cracked. “Please, I’ve done nothing wrong. Just let me go—” “Quiet,” one of them muttered without turning around. His voice was deep and cold, the kind that made you want to shrink into yours

Cole's POV The room felt smaller with every passing minute. The ticking of my watch was the only sound slicing through the silence, steady and merciless.I’d been pacing for hours, at least it felt that way. The floorboards had started to groan beneath my boots. It was already dark outside; the moonlight filtered through the glass, sharp and cold and Esme still hadn’t come back.I rubbed a hand down my jaw, trying to keep my thoughts from running too far. She’d stormed out earlier, angry, furious, actually and I’d let her go with my cock being ravished in Delilah's mouth. That mistake was already gone from my bed and my mind, but the scent still lingered faintly in the air, souring everything. Now it was late, and something in me wouldn’t settle. My wolf had been pacing restlessly under my skin for a while now, growling low every time I looked toward the pack entrance from the CCTV in my room, it hadn't even captured her leaving the pack which could only mean she left through the ba

Reese POV My feet scraped against the tiled floor as the guards dragged me through the corridor. The air grew colder the deeper we went, so sharp and sterile it stung my nostrils. I clutched the baby tighter against my chest, her small cries breaking through the hollow echo of our footsteps. Every turn led us past glass panels and locked metal doors, and behind them, I could hear faint mechanical hums, low whirs, muffled screams.A smell hit me first — chemicals. Heavy, acidic, and nauseating. It reminded me of burnt metal mixed with antiseptic. The fluorescent lights above buzzed, white and merciless, exposing every surface , spotless, clinical, and cruel. When they finally stopped, I was shoved into a large open room. My knees hit the cold floor. The space looked like something out of a nightmare, part lab, part torture chamber. Long metal tables lined the walls, stacked with glass beakers, syringes, tubes, oxygen masks, metallic clamps, IV stands, and strange glowing vials fi

Cole's POV I didn’t think. I didn’t even breathe. All I knew was that I was running out of that damned facility, out of the suffocating smell of blood and chemicals, with Esme limp in my arms. Her body jerked violently against me as if she was trying to fight something deep inside her. I tightened my hold, pushing past the doors, ignoring the alarm sirens blaring from behind. The night air hit me sharp and cold. For a second, I almost staggered.Raid was waiting by the car, already yelling orders into his earpiece. His men moved around us. I shoved open the back door, climbed in with her still in my arms, and barked, “Move!”He slid into the passenger seat as I slammed my foot on the pedal. The tires screeched.“Call him,” I said. My voice came out low, dangerous, calm — the kind of calm that only comes when you’re seconds away from losing everything.Raid didn’t ask questions. He knew who I meant. Within seconds, he was speaking in quick clipped tones into his phone.Esme’s breathi

Cole's POV I wedged her against the wall as she tried to push me off, her hands slamming hard into my chest. "Cole, fucking drop me. What the hell are you doing? Are you mad? In front of people," she banged at me, her fists pounding, but I didn't budge. My body was still pressing her tighter into the wall. Her breaths came fast, her chest heaving against mine, the maids passing in the hall averting their eyes quick. The beast in me wanted to devour her and ravish on her, but I was trying very hard to suppress, and she wasn't even helping matters, her scent was driving me wild. I smiled slowly, my eyes raking over her cleavages, the shirt dipping low showing the swell of her breasts. "I want to play a very good game with you, Esme," I said, my voice low as I smirked. Other maids passed, but none dared look at what was happening. God, she was just too tempting for me. I wanted to bury my face in between her full breasts. I wanted to suck it so badly it ached her and turned red. B
