ESME POV Morning turned messy when he found comfort between my legs I knelt at Mom's grave, the early morning dew soaking my knees through my jeans. Today marked five years since her death, and the pain hit fresh every time. But it wasn't just grief twisting in my gut. This day always dragged up memories of Cole, too. On the same afternoon we buried her, after the pack left me alone to cry, he found me in the woods behind the cemetery. I squeezed my eyes shut, the scene replaying sharp in my mind. I'd been sobbing against the wall when he appeared, his eyes dark and intense. "You shouldn't be out here alone Esme," he said, his voice low and rough. He pulled me into his arms without asking, his hands firm on my back. I didn't resist; I'd wanted him for years, secretly watching him, craving his touch. His fingers slid up my shirt, cupping my breasts, squeezing them hard enough to make me gasp. "Let me make you forget for a minute," he muttered, yanking my bra down. His mouth

Esme's POV When I woke up, the first thing I noticed was the smell. A mix of clean linen, faint herbs, and antiseptic. It was choking but oddly calming. My vision adjusted slowly and that was when I saw the Pack’s doctor. His gray hair was neatly combed back, his glasses sliding down the bridge of his nose as he flipped through a file.“Miss Esme,” he said quickly, relief flooding his features when he noticed my eyes open. “Thank goodness you’re awake.”I blinked, my mouth dry. “How am I here, sir?” My voice came out weak, rough like I hadn’t used it in years. I tried to move but my body felt heavy. Before he could answer, the door opened. The sound of footsteps that was firm filled the room. I looked to know who it was and it was Cole. The doctor glanced between us and closed his file. “I’ll leave you for a moment,” he said quietly before walking out.The moment he left, the tension grew cold. It was always like this with me when he was close. He leaned against the doorframe, his ha

ESME'S POV It hadn’t even been a full week since Mom’s death anniversary and now I was standing over another grave. My father’s. The irony was almost cruel to be honest. The sun burned weakly through the gray clouds, soft enough that the cold air still bit against my skin. I watched as they lowered the casket into the ground, people whispering, crying, murmuring prayers under their breath. It all felt far away, like I was watching through glass. Cole’s father’s casket lay beside my father’s. The pack’s Beta and Alpha buried side by side. The entire pack had shown up — hundreds of people dressed in black, their faces somber, their voices hushed. Some sobbed openly. Others stared blankly like I did, their minds elsewhere. I should have felt something. Sadness, grief, maybe relief but all I felt was numb. My father… Should I even call him that? He never really was one. He treated me like an obligation, like I was something he regretted bringing into the world. I didn’t cry because

Hi dear readers, sorry that the previous chapter was duplicated by the system, I've sent out a message and it'll be deleted, thank you! THREE YEARS LATER Thank God we finally landed. I was almost suffocating in this plane. The moment the tires hit the ground, I exhaled sharply and unclipped my seat belt. Beside me, little Lior was fast asleep, his head resting on my arm, his soft curls tickling my skin. My three-year-old son — the one I never planned for, the one Cole had left me with. I glanced down at him and smiled faintly. “We’re home, baby,” I whispered, brushing a strand of hair off his forehead. Home. The word felt foreign. Three years since I’d left this place, this pack, swearing never to come back. Three years since I’d found out I was pregnant and realized the man I thought I could trust had tricked me. Cole had given me vitamins that day instead of contraceptives, or so I thought. Later, when I realized the truth, I understood he had known exactly what he was doing.

Cole's POV I closed the door to Esme's room and walked down the hall. My mind raced with anger from her words about Lior not being mine. Three years had passed since she left and I still felt the regret. I headed to the office to talk to Nolan about the disease and the plan. The door was slightly open, and I pushed it in quietly. Inside, I froze at what I saw. Nolan had Marek on his knees in front of the desk. Nolan's pants were down, his hard dick out, thick and veined. Marek's mouth was around it, sucking slow at first. Nolan grabbed Marek's hair and pushed his head down deeper. "Take it all, you pretty thing," Nolan groaned, his voice low and mean. Marek gagged a bit but kept going, his lips stretched tight as Nolan thrust into his mouth. I watched from the door, hidden a little as Nolan's hips moved faster, forcing his dick down Marek's throat. Marek's eyes watered, but he didn't stop, his hands on Nolan's thighs. "That's it, suck harder," Nolan said, his face twisted in
