Aria's POVMy heart leaped violently in my chest, and I instantly felt uncomfortable and unsecured around there. I even shifted as though to stand and protect Luna. "Sit," she said quietly. "There won't be a tussle between us. Sit, please." Her tone wasn't mocking in any way. I hesitated just once, then slowly lowered myself back onto the bench. But I didn't relax. Not even slightly. Instead, I watched her from the corner of my eye, noting how she exhaled deeply. Her gaze was fixed forward at nothing in particular. "You wouldn't believe I'd ever say this," she murmured. "But overtime, I've come to realise something." I said nothing, only watched as she continued. "It is true that Kyril loves you more than anything," she said. "He wouldn't stop loving you. It is certain." My fingers tightened instinctively around Luna's small body, and I looked away from her. "You," she added, turning her head slightly toward me, "would make one of the best Luna ever to rule in Grant pack."
