REVAA sound reached me at first, faintly, as if it were coming from far away. My mind struggled to make sense of it as I floated in a heavy, disoriented haze. It sounded like a ringing, and my eyes fluttered open, but everything was blurred. I had no idea where I was, and my head felt heavy and thick, like it didn’t belong to me.
