Lahat ng Kabanata ng FORBIDDEN FATE: MY PROFESSORS' MATE: Kabanata 71 - Kabanata 80

Aliyah's POV I spun around, the notebook slipping from my hands. It hit the floor with a thud, pages fluttering open like they were spilling secrets I wasn't ready for.Becca stood there in the doorway, her eyes wide but not surprised. She glanced at the open crate, then back at me. Her face was pale, but she didn't look shocked. "Becca? What are you doing here?" My voice came out shaky, my heart pounding so hard I could feel it in my throat. I bent down to grab the notebook, but my fingers fumbled, and I just stared at it instead. She stepped inside, closing the door behind her with a soft click. "I followed you. Saw you heading to the Admin building instead of the library like you said. Aliyah, you shouldn't be poking around in here alone."I straightened up, clutching the notebook to my chest now. "You followed me? Why? And how did you know about this place?"Becca sighed, running a hand through her hair. She leaned against one of the crates, crossing her arms. "I've been suspect

Aliyah's POV "Aliyah," he said, his voice was low and dark. "Don't make me come in there and get you."My heart was beating rapidly against my ribs. Beside me, Becca’s breath was coming in shallow, jagged pants. I looked at her, my eyes wide and pleading. 'We have to play it cool,' I thought, hoping the desperation in my gaze conveyed the message. 'We have to act like we didn't hear the part about the ritual. About everything they said about me.'I reached out and squeezed Becca’s hand before slowly, trembling, I stepped out from behind the towering shelf. Becca followed a second later, her head dropping low.Skylar was standing there as his emerald eyes stared deep into my eyes, studying my face. He was probably looking for any sign to know if I heard everything he just said. But I was more than prepared for him. "Skylar?" I said, my voice cracking perfectly. I made sure my bottom lip trembled. "Leah? What... what are you doing here?"Skylar’s gaze narrowed. He took a slow step tow

Aliyah's POVI woke up on Nyla's lumpy couch, my body aching from the run yesterday. The sun was peeking through the cracked blinds of her tiny cabin in the woods. It had been a full day since I crashed into her as a wolf, spilled my guts about rejecting Skylar and Tyler, and crashed hard from exhaustion. Nyla had been cool about it, she gave me space, she cooked some basic stew, and did not push me to go into more details. My phone was still off, buried in my pants pocket. I'd switched it off right after rejecting them, not wanting any calls or texts pulling me back. But a day was enough hiding, right? I know my friends would be worried about me. I sat up, rubbing my eyes, and pulled out the phone. I did a long press on the power button and my phone came on. The screen lit up, and immediately, it started buzzing like crazy. Notifications poured in, one after another, dings, vibrations, the whole thing was shaking in my hand. There were missed calls: 10, 20, 30, climbing to over a

Aliyah's POV I sat there in that cold administration office, my hands twisted in my lap as I stared blankly at the floor. My heart was racing so fast it felt like it might burst out of my chest. The dean's words hung in the air like a heavy cloud, making it hard for me to breathe. "The committee has reviewed the evidence and I want to establish that we do not tolerate intimate and sexual student/teacher relationships. It is a grave offense."Skylar shifted in his seat across from me, his jaw tightening. Tyler sat next to him, looking just as tense. I couldn't even look at them without feeling a mix of shame and anger bubbling up inside me. How did we end up here? I just wanted to reject them and move on, but now everything was exploding in my face. The dean leaned forward, his eyes scanning all three of us. "Miss Marcus, Professors Deville, we need to hear your sides. The video shows Miss Marcus rejecting both of you, implying a prior relationship. Explain."I opened my mouth, but no

Aliyah's POVI sat in the back seat of Kelly's car, staring out the window as the campus buildings faded behind us. My boxes were crammed in the trunk and spilling over into the seat next to me, it was like a messy reminder of how fast everything had crumbled. Becca twisted around from the front, her eyes soft with worry as she turned to me. "Aliyah, you okay back there? You've been quiet since we left."I forced a nod, but my throat felt tight. "Yeah, just... thinking." The truth was, my mind was a mess, there was the expulsion, Tyler and Skylar locked up and that stupid video ruining everything. I felt lost, like I'd been punched in the gut and couldn't catch my breath. But sitting there, watching the trees start to thicken as we hit the outskirts of Silver Haven, something shifted. I wasn't ready to just roll over and disappear.Kelly glanced at me in the rearview mirror, her hands gripping the wheel a little too hard. "Where to first? You said you didn't want to go to your grandma
