Lahat ng Kabanata ng The Alpha's Cursed mate: Kabanata 91 - Kabanata 100

A guttural sound rips from Dorian's throat but it's too late, his silver dagger already tear open my stomach with that twisted grin of his. His grin prickles my memory and I'm transported to the time when my parents' were ripped out , the hunter made me watch every single moment of it. His grin remains as he twist the dagger deep after finishing off my parents. I stumble back, my hands releases him before going down to press hard against my stomach, containing the blood. The silver spread through my veins like liquid fire, my chest burning with a searing pain. A snarl tears out if Dorian and a blur of brown fur launching across the table. The bald hunter swings his shotgun, his fingers pressing hard on the trigger. Dorian's wolf slams into him, knocking the gun from his hand before pining him down with his paws. He growls at the hunters, the sound piercing the air. They take a shaky steps back but scar face remains calm, a smirk playing at his lips. The other hunter reaches

*FREYA* Dorian helps to move Leonidas to the bed before Eira's arrival. His lips has gone purple when she finally comes in with her box. She goes to work instantly, ripping his shirt to reveal his torso. My hand flies to my mouth as the huge cut wound is revealed. Who is so cruel to do this to him? Eira doesn't flinch as she begins to disinfect the wound. A sound threatens to rip from my lips as blood continues to flow endlessly. “Take her away from here,” Eira orders as Dorian yanks me out of the room despite my protest. He drags me to the garden and gently guide me to sit. I stand my ground, despite his heavy hands clamping on my shoulders, refusing to sit. “He's hurting, Dorian, ” I cry, tears rolling freely from my cheek. “I need to be there with him.” He exhales. “I understand how you feel, really—” “You don't!” I cut him off. “My heart feels like it's being torn to shreds. Can you feel that? ” His face twists like I strike him across the cheek. “Freya—” I

*FREYA* Days passed and Leonidas still hasn't open his eyes, though his breathing has become steady. Eira had said the silver spread to his bloodstream and thankfully he was brought back on time. The wormwood paste had managed to suck it out and that he would wake up soon. I hold on to her words, sitting on a small stool beside him and wiping the sweat that bead on his forehead with a towel. Thankfully, color has returned to his face and his fingers often twitch. I exhale loudly, brushing my fingers against his chin. His skin is fever hot. I soak the towel in the bowl of cold water beside the bed, wring it out, and press it gently to his forehead, willing the heat beneath my palm to fade. Kieran strides in quietly, his usual scowl still plastered on his face. He doesn't say anything to me, not even the harsh words he always throws at me. He just looks on and I ignore him, pretending I am alone. When Leo's fever finally eases, I carefully peel away the sheets damp wi

*LEONIDAS* I stare at her face, memorizing every inch of it because this might be the last time I will see her. I won't stop her if she decide to leave after learning the truth. She unwraps the bandage and applies the wormwood paste on my wound without sparing me a glance, her lips pressed in a thin line. I lean closer to her and I feel her stiffen but she doesn't stop, her attention solely on the wound. “I'm sorry,” I murmur softly, the words foreign even to my ears because I never apologize, I only received. She still doesn't look at me. “I'm the one who should be sorry. I forgot my place.” Her words grate my nerves and I grab her wrist, harshly than I intended. “Why do you keep saying that?” She finally looks at me. “Am I not your slave, Alpha?” I suck in a sharp breath to calm the anger that rises in my veins. Her words make me want to punch a hole into something. “You are not my slave,” I grind out, my jaw clenching. “Okay.” And just like that , she w

*LEONIDAS* The noise of the elders clamoring , each voicing their own personal opinions merely falls down my ears until it becomes nothing more than a dull hum.My thoughts only circles one person. Freya. She would have left by now. Probably on her way to Ashvale. My heart squeezes at the thought. No, not Ashvale. She has a lot of bad memories there. Perhaps she's on her way to somewhere far away, where neither the hunters nor I can find her. Should I send Dorian to accompany her? No. She might thinks I sent him to spy on her. What about the omega she’s grown close to? The one she smiles with so easily. What's her name again? Was it Alira or— Alera. Yes, Alera. That's her name. “Alpha?” I should send Alera so Freya won't be alone. She's a better choice to care for my mate. “Alpha?!” My eyes snap up to see Elder Lorraine in front of me, his eyes narrowing. My gaze sweeps across the room and it's then I notice it has gone quiet. “Are you even l
