Semua Bab His Deadly Mate: Book 2 of The 'His' Series: Bab 141 - Bab 150

Rodrigo POVI’ve been keeping up with Aiden regarding the ports. He is actually a really good mentor. I am starting to break even with the Moreno ports and the Reyes ports profits are up by twenty-five percent. Looking at how easily this could have been managed with just running the business versus my father’s shady dealings, we could have been beyond successful years ago.I am supposed to talk to Aiden tomorrow afternoon. He did say he was trying to negotiate a deal with another pack right now and may not be available tomorrow if things go well but that he would send me a message if that were the case.Julian has been surprisingly quiet. He calls every week to ask me about any developments and if I have heard from Mia. He still thinks she is the Shadow Maw, but she isn’t. I don’t want to tell him it’s Thalia because she is going to give birth soon. I’ve been trying hard to keep him at bay. I don’t want any part of what he is trying to pull. The prophecy doesn’t sound like he is going

Thalia POVWe have been inside of this safe room long enough. I cannot stand being here any longer and Rory already knows my patience has thinned. I’m still getting contractions, but they are over fifteen minutes apart. I am not going to worry about them right now.It is extremely quiet all over this place and I want to know what is happening. “Rory, I’m getting out of here.”“You know you can’t.”“Oh, but I can. Aiden said there was a safety switch in here for emergencies. I’m not staying here for another minute. I’m having contractions and the stress is only exacerbating the situation.” I said and I pulled out the panel with the emergency switch. When the door unlocks, I feel like I can breathe again.Rory is following after me, “Tally, look, if you want to know what’s going on, let’s look from one of the windows. You are pregnant with my nieces. You have to be careful.”That’s not unreasonable. I do need to be careful and if I need to get back to the safe room, I can and still be sa

Aiden POV‘Already? I’m on my way.’ I said.“I have to go back, Thalia is being prepped for delivery.” I said. “If you want to stay the night, you are welcome to. Isaiah can get everyone set up. I have to go now.”“Of course, go be with your mate.” Edgar said.Isaiah slaps my shoulder, “Get the fuck outta here. I will handle everything here.”My nerves are getting to me as I jump in the car and speed back to the hospital. Thalia and I haven’t even finished picking out names yet. We have been so busy with everything going on that we kept talking about it and never got around to it.As soon as I get to the hospital, I run inside and I hear Thalia screaming. I come into the room and Dad looks relieved.“You made it. I’m taking your mom to the waiting room. You need to be here with your mate.” Dad said.“I got this. Thanks mom and dad.” I said. They both left the room and I rush to Thalia’s side. “Mojito, you are doing great.” I said. She screams as another contraction hits. “The drugs did

Thalia POVAfter a couple of days, I was ready to go back to the pack house. Nyx already healed me, but my body still feels stiff and I know my hips are bigger now because my sweatpants feel a little snug. I was already curvy to begin with. Not in an overweight kind of way, but my body shape has always been an hour-glass shape.‘It’s a thicker hourglass now mojito. I have to admit; I’m going to enjoy having my hands on you when you are completely recovered.’ Aiden said.‘Seriously? None of my clothes are going to fit me properly.’‘Less clothing…that’s good. I’m still not hearing a problem.’ He said looking lustfully at my hips, before wrapping his arms around me and kissing me deeply.A small moan escapes and he growls appreciatively. “Seven more to go.”“I’m definitely talking to the Moon Goddess. That was painful as hell.” I said and it made Aiden chuckle.“Mom said that the first pregnancy was the hardest for her, but after that, it was easier. She said giving birth to Rory was eas

Julian POV I have been watching Rodrigo, and he is doing really well with the ports. I was hoping he would fail but it would appear that he is getting additional help in addition to the investment he received from Aiden. I am trying to find the kink in the chain that I can exploit, but so far, I haven’t found one. I know he is desperate for a mate. I am thinking of exploiting that angle. He now has a shadow maw wolf, which is superior to a regular wolf. I may be able to parade some beautiful women around him and see if he takes the bait. Then I will have an inside woman providing me with intel. The more I think about the idea, the more I like it. Once I have information on him that I can exploit, then I will use it to make him concede ownership of the ports. I will pay pennies on the dollars too. I won’t help him pay back that fucker Aiden. He is messing up my plans to begin with anyway. I need to make sure that I have Rodrigo under my thumb. Aiden gave him an out, but I am going t
