Semua Bab Trapped in My Ex's Love: Bab 121 - Bab 130

Bintang went to a baby supply store before heading to the hospital. Becoming a mother—although not a biological one—made her feel extremely happy and fulfilled. She bought several baby items, such as clothes, diapers, and even tiny shoes, not knowing when they would ever be worn.“The total is one million two hundred thirty-two thousand,” the cashier said after calculating all of Bintang’s purchases.Bintang took out her debit card, of course using her own money, not her husband’s.The cashier swiped the card through the payment machine, and Bintang entered her PIN.While waiting for the payment process to be completed, Bintang felt as though someone was watching her. She turned around, but there was no one there. When she looked outside the store, there was no one either.“Maybe it’s just my imagination,” Bintang murmured while rubbing the back of her neck.“Here’s your card. Thank you for shopping with us,” the cashier said as she returned Bintang’s card.Bintang took her card back

Langit drove at high speed, completely ignoring his own safety. The only thing on his mind right now was Bintang. He called Anta, who said that Bintang had already gone home. That made Langit decide to go straight to the apartment. As soon as he reached the basement, he got out of the car in a hurry and rushed up to the floor where his apartment unit was.The moment he stepped out of the elevator, Langit saw a pink suitcase in front of his unit door. He quickly went inside and found Bintang clutching her chest in pain, while a small child stood there staring at his wife.Bintang was in deep shock. She stood up to go to the bedroom to get her medicine.“Bin.” Langit chased after Bintang as she entered the bedroom. He paused briefly to glance at the little girl outside, then continued after Bintang.Bintang searched for her medicine in her bag in panic. Her hands were shaking so badly that she accidentally dropped several pills. She swallowed the medicine without water, desperate to eas

Since Bintang left, Sashi had been staying in the living room. Langit did not pay any attention to her at all; he stayed in the bedroom and did not come out.At half past one in the morning, Sashi woke up after falling asleep on the sofa while hugging her favorite doll that had always accompanied her. She was hungry because she had not eaten anything since the afternoon.Sashi opened her bag and found only chocolate inside, which she ate. It was not enough to satisfy her hunger, so she took out a container of powdered milk that she usually drank. She walked to the kitchen to make the milk herself. For the past six months, Sashi had often been left alone at home by Angelica. She had been taught to take food from the table and make her own milk.“There’s no hot water,” the little girl murmured when she could not find the kettle with hot water.Sashi could not bear her hunger. She picked up her phone to call her mommy, but the call connected to voicemail.“Mommy, Mommy, where are you? Sa

All night, Langit thought about how to fulfill Bintang’s request. He felt stuck, unable to think clearly because of overwhelming anxiety over everything Bintang had said.By the time dawn arrived, Langit was still awake, with dark circles clearly visible under his eyes. Finally, he remembered one name he knew was close to Angelica.“Does he know about Sashi? Could what he said back then mean this?”Langit felt truly foolish whenever it came to anything involving Bintang. He quickly grabbed his phone and called Steven.“Hello. What time is it? Why are you calling me in the middle of the night?” Steven’s voice sounded hoarse on the other end.“Stev, do you know about Angelica?” Langit asked, ignoring his friend’s irritation. There was silence on the line, making Langit frown.“She already met you?” Steven asked after a moment of silence. It seemed he was gathering his awareness before responding.“You know? So you know that Angelica came to Indonesia?” Langit asked sharply. From Steven’

“El!”Joya was shocked by her son’s explanation. Her head instantly felt dizzy upon learning that Langit had a four-year-old child.“How could you be so careless?” Kenzo was equally stunned, though he tried to remain calm as he processed what had happened.Langit ran a hand through his hair in frustration. He needed to talk to his parents to find the best solution, and also so they would not be shocked later.“I didn’t realize it either, Dad,” Langit said with his head lowered, filled with regret.Joya became flustered; even sitting felt uncomfortable.“Then what about Bintang, huh! You know the presence of that child will surely make her suffer!” Joya thought about her daughter-in-law’s fate with deep pain.Joya’s emotions overflowed more intensely than Annetha’s. She had never agreed with Langit living in Paris, and now her fears had been proven right.“Then what should I do, Mom? I know she is suffering too, but I can’t do anything,” Langit said in frustration. Bintang was giving h
