Semua Bab My Enemy Came Back for Me: Bab 1 - Bab 10

Her words stopped me cold.Back in college, Ariana had told me more than once how much she despised Elliot. She used to say he was arrogant, entitled, and utterly shameless—always throwing his family's wealth around and playing with women as if they were toys. He'd cheated on every girlfriend he'd ever had and even forced more than one girl into an abortion. And now, that same scumbag had somehow become her boyfriend. I could hardly believe that the sweet, innocent girl who once stood by my side had turned into someone like this.I didn't want to say anything more. I turned to leave, but Elliot stepped in front of me with a grin. "Don't go, Chase. You're a server, right? Perfect. You can personally serve our table tonight."Before I could reply, he grabbed my arm and pulled me into their private room, dropping himself into a chair and throwing one leg up onto the table. "Come on, Chase. Start by cleaning my shoes. Let's see how good you are at your job."The others burst into muff

Meanwhile, Cleo and the other girls pulled out their phones, giggling like it was all a party. Some of them even went live on social media.Cleo beamed into her camera and said sweetly, "Alright, everyone, send me some gifts! I'm livestreaming a toilet bath—an exclusive human-shower special! Hahaha!"Viewers, having no idea what was actually happening, began flooding into the stream. The viewer count skyrocketed. Some sick-minded people even started spamming gifts and shouting for a full face reveal.Seeing that, the girls grew even more excited, shrieking from the sidelines."Come on, pour it! Let my followers see the whole thing!""Mr. Reid, you're amazing! You just came out for dinner, and you're helping me gain followers! Only a rich heir could pull that off!"…Across the room, Ariana wrinkled her nose and leaned against Elliot. "Babe, he's so filthy. This is disgusting."I was being forced down, my head dunked into the foul water again and again. Each time, I came dangero

The restaurant manager became grimmer by the second. "I'm sorry, but I know exactly what our boss looks like—and you're not him."Elliot froze, caught red-handed, his expression awkward. Then, in a burst of fury, he snapped, "What the hell do you know? You're just a damn employee! You think you know who owns this place or who the shareholders are? Who the hell are you to question me? Watch your mouth before I fire you myself!"His self-assured tone threw the manager off. For a moment, the man hesitated, unsure what to do.…Meanwhile, I slowly came to my senses in the restroom, pinned there by a few classmates. Hearing the manager's voice outside, I gritted my teeth, steeled myself, and when they weren't looking, I threw all my strength into the door. With a loud bang, I burst out of the restroom and crashed hard onto the floor.Everyone was startled. Elliot stormed over, furious, and kicked me several times. "You useless piece of trash—what are you so jittery about? Keep it u

Elliot was wholly stupefied. When he finally snapped out of it, he stumbled forward to apologize—but before he could reach me, one of the guards kicked him back to the floor.I looked down at him from above, my voice cold and cutting. "Assault, intentional humiliation, property damage, and unlawful confinement. Those are the charges against you, Mr. Reid. Every second of what you just did to me is clearly recorded on the security cameras. You can look forward to spending the rest of your life in prison—and losing every penny your family owns to pay for it."Then, I turned to the manager. "Call the police. No one leaves this room until they've paid the price.""Yes, sir!" The guards immediately took action as I turned and walked out, heading straight for the hospital. That was when Cleo finally snapped out of her daze. Gone was her earlier arrogance; she ran after me with a sudden sweetness in her tone. "Chase! I knew you couldn't have fallen that far. You were always top of the c

The scandal exploded across the internet, drawing massive media attention. Reporters quickly dug up the old livestream footage from the private room that night, piecing together what had happened. Before long, the public had made up its mind—it was nothing more than a vicious fight between two gold-diggers. The outrage was unanimous. My former classmates, whom I had sued for their involvement, were forced to pay hefty settlements for both material and emotional damages. Their personal details were soon exposed online, and with their reputations destroyed, none of them could get hired anywhere. As for the small group of lackeys who had followed Elliot around, their futures were finished for good.Elliot's mother, abandoned by Thomas after he disowned his son, was quickly expelled from the Reid household. She came to beg me for mercy several times, pleading for her son's release, but I ignored her every time. Eventually, she joined forces with a few of the female classmates who had l
