Sabrina. Faint candles flickered gently in the room, shining, not bright enough to chase away the darkness that enveloped the room, but enough to outline the silhouettes, two figures, perfectly intertwined, dancing in the darkness, to a tune that only they, understood. It was Rhys and me. I was still sitting on his lap, riding on his huge cock....And heavens, I had fantasised about it for almost, my entire life, but the fantasy was nowhere near the reality ..... Rhys was my first love. The man that I had always wanted to give my first to, the whole of me... And while I had waited for that time, before he betrayed me, I had kept myself distracted by thoughts of him taking me, and how it would feel like. Good? Loads and Loads of pleasure? Yes, that's what I had imagined. I had even fantasised about our first night together, candles, scented room, dim lights, pristine white sheets, laden with red roses, arranged meticulously, forming a huge heart shape? Then Rhys would gen

Sabrina. And in near-dawn, while the world that once used to be mine was slumbering, a chapter in my life was closed. The longest chapter in my life, actually. It had stretched for far too long, for twenty-five years. And the ending? It hadn't been the most satisfying, but still, ending it had brought peace. And as I looked back, dragging my suitcase, I couldn't help but wonder, why had I held on for so long? Because clearly, letting go hurt, but what hurt more? Were the months that I had stubbornly held the double-sided dagger in my hands, gritting through the pain, hoping for a miracle, and must I add? The miracle never happened, just the pain. And just like that, another chapter was opened, the page still blank, but the ink was still there, and so was hope. "God! Sabrina " When she saw me, Ivy released a dramatic sigh, and I almost rolled my eyes. " You had me all scared for a minute. I thought you had changed your mind. " She added, giving me a suspicious lo

Sabrina. " Your cousin is probably right " We had just alighted, still processing Ivy's earlier words, when the Alpha King's smooth voice cut through my senses, and, his words sent shocks of fear all over my body, but I did everything in me to act and appear composed. " Now, to my office." " There won't be time for palace tour," He added, and with that, with a speed that perfectly described a royal werewolf, he was gone from our sight. Now, it was just Ivy and I, in the airfield, hearts beating with what clearly looked like anxiety, and our suitcases tightly clenched in our hands. "If you hadn't given that stupid royal command, we would still be back in the pack, you know?" She wasn't even looking at me. She was complaining while dragging her bag, and I silently followed behind. I didn't even have a perfect refute for her words. She sounded bitter for having been dragged back to the palace, abd honestly? my feelings were the complete opposite of hers. And no, It

Sabrina. " I hate unfairness. " I whispered, and with that, I added more force in my hand. The blade dug deeper into their skin, and, I pressed deeper, not enough to cut their throat, actually, but deeper enough to draw blood. Not too much blood, just slightly more than they had drawn from ne. And there, when I saw the crimsom red fluid dripping, a sweet smile found its way to my lips. Not all of it, but my anger was slightly satied. But then he turned, the person who had attacked me, the same person that I had attacked back, and when I saw his face, my hands shook so much that I almost dropped my dagger. You see, I wasn't overreacting. That person on their knees? his back facing me while I stood behind him? He had just turned to face me, and I swear, I was statued in place, unmoving, breath held. His face wasn't familiar or anything. I had never seen it before, but, It was how innocent he looked With the most clearest green eyes. Which slightly resembled my m

Sabrina. "It looks like we won't be going to the Alpha King's office." She declared coldly. Her gaze, not even on me. And as I looked at her side profile, I found it hard to link the current Ivy, with the girl that I had spent the last four years, almost five, with. " At least, not for now." She paused, letting her words sit. At my side, my fingers were tightly clenched, my claws sinking deeper into my skin, and that pain, it helped me to stay grounded even when I was falling apart from within. Ivy? The person before me looked nothing like the Ivy I knew. And once again, as I tried to process everything, I was forced to accept another truth, I was all alone in the palace. And the sooner I accepted that, the better. "He might be mentally unstable, but he is this palace's treasure. Your only mistake was to hurt him, Sabrina. " She declared, turning to look me in the eyes, her gaze deep and penetrating. "He wouldn't have killed you, but even if he had, it would have
