Varisa tucks Sophie into bed and then heads towards her room. She's only ten, but very clearly her brain is always going. Varisa hopes she can shield her from most of everything that is happening.Varisa takes a quick shower and hops in bed. After such a mentally and emotionally tiring day, her only goal is to sleep. But as she lies in bed, trying to force herself to sleep, her mind keeps wondering what is going to happen. The court hearing is in two days. What if the judge doesn't approve bail, and her father has to live in that prison for quite some time? What if he dies there? What is Varisa supposed to do?
