What Tiara DidELENA didn't get the news until Dr. Karen burst into her office while she was working on a project with a junior staff. Elena humbly excused the staff because she saw the look of excitement on her face, and she smiled back slightly."You seem a little happy." Elena began as Dr. Karen sat across from her."You just got exonerated and the internet is even apologizing to you..." She paused to take a deep breath. "And not only that but Lunaris Tech have put out an apology and are offering you a higher position now."Elena was almost amazed by that, but she held herself back. "And how did these all happen? You're keeping me in suspense..." She was already taking out her phone from her bag."I just saw the video."Elena didn't look up from the screen on her phone as she turned on the WiFi. "Which video?""Your cousin, what's her name? Uh... Tiara? She did a lives stream and it's been viewed three million times in four hours." Karen closed the door. "The one where she just adm

First DayELENA felt like there was no point in continuing the martial arts training programme because Marcus was finally locked away and awaiting his sentence which would give him a life imprisonment, but Eamon had tried so hard to convince her that she needed it to keep herself fit and her mind active, which would help her as a CEO. And Elena knew the second reason why; Krix. After infuriating them by leaking those documents, she knew her life was targeted. She didn't even tell Eamon about the call that was made to her after the news got out. It would only make Eamon more erratic.Elena stood in the center of the dojang, already breathing hard, and they hadn't even started."Again," the instructor said, folding her arms across her chest and frowning at the bad form she was keeping.Elena had to reset her stance, with her feet shoulder-width apart and her hands up. The way she had shown her twelve minutes ago, but she had already forgotten the moves.Dina had looked at Elena when the

Her DiscoveryTHE shop had been empty for some days now, and Tira kind of expected it after she released that livestream video about Marcus being an abuser, and she was nostalgic that he was behind bars now. Either ways, she missed the feeling of threading her hands into her customer's hairs while talking about the latest gist in town. Hair making was the only thing she could do, and she did it exceptionally well."Ugh..." She sighed and stood behind the counter and watched the street, and the same women she always saw barely glanced up at her shop again, as if they were scared that having her hands in their hair would turn them into someone like her. So, the women walked past, both old and young with hairs that needed making, with hair she was certain that she would make them look their best. But none of them looked in, and it was becoming depressing. The money Elena had given her was going to be sufficient enough for her until delivery, but what after that? Her life would have to go

Six Hundred Billion Dollars ELENA did not go back home as promised because the organizers of the conference invited her to stay over after their lunch break because they had a very important announcement that would involve her company. Elena was very curious, and she sent a quick text to Eamon and told him she was going to be home late, but she would still bring the ice creams. She sent it with a wink emoji and blushed before going back inside. The conference host returned to the stage after lunch. lights dimmed and the screen lowered behind her. "Ladies and gentlemen," she said, "I have an announcement that will change the landscape of this industry." The room went quiet as everyone was now curious to hear what they'd stayed back for. The organizers told them it was something juicy. "The Global Tech Summit will take place in six weeks. Three companies have been selected as finalists. The winner will receive a six hundred billion dollar investment from our investors." A murm

Chapter 139Another Livestream?ELENA was still reviewing the summit presentation when her phone buzzed incessantly. It was a call from Dr. Karen, and she frowned slightly because she had just finished speaking to her."Hello, ma'am." She said sweetly as usual because Karen had become her new best friend."Is what she's saying true? Did you really do all of that?" Her voice was low in a way that told Elena she was trying to control her anger. "Do you know what this could do? How it could affect your image? How it could affect the company?"Elena's heart skipped a beat because she'd never heard Karen use this tone on her, or anyone for that matter."Dr. Karen? Is there any problem? What's going on?" Elena asked with confusion laced in her voice."Haven't you seen the livestream that your cousin has made?" She asked. "If you haven't, go through it and once you're done, you better come to explain yourself."As soon as she dropped the call the notification popped up on her phone, and inde
