Lahat ng Kabanata ng A TASTE OF SIN: Kabanata 131 - Kabanata 140

This meeting was exactly how I expected it to be. Boring and until now quite unsuccessful. With no call or message from Nikolai, I endured every single conversation with people I either didn't remember or didn't like. My phone stayed cold and silent in my pocket, and with every passing second, my patience thinned, like ice beneath a simmering fire.It was tradition that every year all the mafia leaders met in peace to create new alliances or sort out a problem. However, Leah and her father weren't present today, which wasn't a good sign. Their absence wasn't just a breach of etiquette it was a declaration, a warning cloaked in silence. You could feel the shift in the atmosphere, the way men leaned in closer, voices dropping just slightly lower, the way eyes flicked toward the empty chairs at the northern end of the room.My family wouldn't have been the most powerful and wealthiest mafia without good allies. We had a ton of allies, that preferred cooperating with us instead of being o

"I'm not bedding you before our wedding." I snapped at Leah. My voice was sharp and final. Instead of fuming and getting out of my room like any woman with an ounce of dignity, she grinned. That irritating, overconfident smirk."When have you turned so old-fashioned?" she asked, tilting her head with mock curiosity."Since my father wants me to give you the respect you deserve as my wife," I told her, glaring at her, letting her know that her presence wasn't fucking needed here. My stare was steel, the kind that made grown men piss themselves. She wasn’t special. She didn’t understand. Her shoulders sagged. She tucked her hair behind her ears from both sides and sighed like a kicked puppy. "Do you not like me, Alessandro?"I let out a breath. Not this again. I had already told her on the phone. A hundred times."I'm marrying you, aren't I?", I hissed."Not by choice! You're marrying me because it is expected of us." She crossed her arms over her chest like a petulant child."Leah, I'm

My body collapsed against the sheets, boneless and trembling. I was flushed, dazed, and soaked in the aftershocks of what just happened. My chest rose and fell in frantic rhythm, heart still pounding like it hadn’t quite caught up to the fact that it was over.Alessandro hovered over me for a moment longer, his dark eyes burning holes into my skin as if he could brand me with just a look. I hated the way he made me feel wanted, ruined, confused. I hated even more how much I liked it.He leaned in, brushing his lips against my temple. The gesture was so gentle but, it felt like a lie. Then, without a word, he stood up completely bare and sauntered toward the bathroom like he hadn’t just destroyed every nerve in my body.I heard the water start a few seconds later. The hiss of the shower, the soft creak of the door closing behind him but I was too exhausted to join him.Left alone, I stared at the ceiling, trying to gather the pieces of myself. My legs still trembled. My throat was dry.

“Alessandro…” I started, my voice barely a thread. “This isn’t the place to have se....”“Okay you’re insane to think that I will kneel down and let you have sex with me here,” I choked out, trembling, trying to mask the way his words made my knees weak.He didn’t reply immediately but his eyes were locked on mine, unblinking, dark, and hungry. There was no amusement in his expression now. No trace of the teasing smirk that sometimes softened the sharp edges of his dominance. This wasn’t playful. This was possession, laid bare. Raw. Unyielding. He later leaned in further, his voice dropping to something low and dangerous. “You think I care who sees? Let them. Let them fucking know who you belong to.”My entire body flushed hot. Shame curled in my gut, tangled with something darker, something I didn’t want to name. My fingers tightened around the seatbelt, a white-knuckled grip that grounded me.I wanted to scream at him. I wanted to shove him away, crawl out of the car, slam the door,

I felt him stiffen the moment I moved closer, his whole body going rigid as if pretending I wasn’t there would make me disappear. It was amusing, really—watching him struggle, watching the battle he fought against himself, against me.I had him trapped.I shifted slightly under the blanket, adjusting myself, and my hand brushed against his ass. Nikolai sucked in a sharp breath. He was already hard.A smirk tugged at my lips. He thought he could hide from this, from me. That pretending would make it go away."I can hear you thinking," I murmured against his neck, my voice barely above a whisper. "It's getting annoying."My hand drifted lower, tracing the curve of his ass, sliding down to where he was unmistakably hard. He wanted this—no matter how much he fought it.His body betrayed him in ways he couldn’t control. "Turn around," I ordered. For a second, he hesitated, fighting himself, but then he obeyed. The room was dark, but I could still make out the way his chest rose and fell ra
