Semua Bab The Alpha’s Secret Omega: Love Me Like A Sin (MXM): Bab 101 - Bab 110

Valen stares at Ilya's lifeless body through the glass window of the hospital room. The omega is attached to various machines, showing he's alive, with an oxygen mask over his face. For someone so strong, he looks so weak lying there, so pale, so dead. Valen reaches out, placing his bloody hands on the glass window as if he's touching the omega. His omega.Maybe it is the near-death experience, but something inside of him has broken or snapped, and that something accepts Ilya as his omega, and he's afraid of losing him ever. Valen can never lose him again. Valen can never let him get hurt again because in his lifetime, he is his to love and protect.Maybe Valen knows nothing about love or protecting something, but he's willing to learn for his omega.“Mr. D’Avorin.”Valen finally tears his gaze from Ilya's lifeless body and looks at the doctor who comes to stand beside him. Dr. Dennis, the same doctor whom Valen has known his whole life.“Whatever happens, he has to live. And you can

The moment Ilya opens the door of the basement, he abruptly comes to a stop on his feet at the sight that welcomes him.Valen is there, standing in the middle of the room, or rather, held there with his hands and ankles trapped by the chains from the wall, being the only thing that keeps him from falling to his face as his head hangs lowly, with blood dripping down his head and various marks of a whip over his body, bleeding profusely from both old and fresh wounds as he hangs, unconscious. The chains bite into his skin so deeply that every movement would cut off his whole hand.Ilya’s heart sinks to his stomach, and his heart clenches painfully in his chest. For a moment, he cannot breathe properly, his eyes locked on the sight in front of him as everything else fades away, leaving only the brutal image of Valen hanging there.Ilya’s knees buckle for a moment, and his hands tremble at his side. How long has the alpha been like this? And how long do they plan on leaving him to bleed

“You feel warm,”Valen whispers quietly, mumbling against Ilya's skin with his eyes shut. “You feel like heaven right now,” he continues.Ilya doesn't know what to say to that but his heart does a strange flip in his chest. He just stands there, letting Valen hold him in the quiet room for several minutes. But then the moment breaks when the door suddenly opens without warning. Ilya quickly rips himself from Valen's hold and quickly steps back while Valen groans in pain. “I'm sorry!” Ilya blurts out in a high pitched tone, then whips his head to the door to see Theon standing there, with a flask, staring at the scene. He looks at Ilya, then at Valen, his face completely unreadable. Then he advances on Valen's bed. “Doc said you need to eat,” he says, setting the flask down on the rolling table next to the bed. Valen looks at the flask and makes a face. “I’m not hungry.”“I don’t care if you’re not hungry, eat it anyway.” Theon says bluntly, throwing the alpha a sharp glare.Valen r

“Soren,” Ilya calls the moment he slips into the omega's hospital room, instantly pausing when he finds the bed empty. “Soren,” he calls louder, striding over to the door that leads to the toilet and finds it empty. He turns around just as a nurse enters the room. “Where is he?”The nurse frowns. “I don't know, he was just here a moment ago.”Instantly, panic settles in Ilya's bones and he races past the door. Scar might be dead but that doesn't stop the omega from being suicidal. So forgive Ilya for thinking of the worst as he goes to search every corner he feels the omega would be. Thirty minutes later, Ilya is walking out of the hospital, running his fingers through his hair while spinning around but that's when he catches the sight of familiar brown hair peeking out through the leaves of an underbush.Ilya sighs in relief and advances on the omega, going to stand behind him while he squats, focused on getting something from the bush. “What are you doing?” Ilya blurts out, putt

“Serik, I’m in a hurry,” Ilya informs, his posture tense.Serik scans his face. “Are you okay? You discharged yourself from the hospital without proper bed rest. You really have no regard for your life, do you?” “I’m fine, it's just standard bruises. I've had worse.” Ilya says again, a sudden urgency in his voice. He seriously doesn't have time for a conversation, but Serik refuses to see the hint and keeps blocking his path. Serik suddenly swallows hard, his eyes scanning Ilya’s face with a strange, heavy longing look that makes him instantly uncomfortable, and his brows furrow.“Ilya, can I ask you something?” Serik blurts out, his voice dropping slightly, almost like a whisper, while a look of nervousness crosses his face. “And please, just be honest with me.”“Can it wait?” The beta shakes his head. “No, it can't wait. I don't think I'll ever muster the courage of asking you again. I have to do this now, Ilya. Please let me." Ilya frowns but nods, giving the beta all the attent
