Lahat ng Kabanata ng Rejected While Pregnant: The Masked Alpha's Luna Queen: Kabanata 1 - Kabanata 10

Liora Ashwin “Oh, my God!! Where are my clothes?”That was my first thought as my eyes snapped open. My gaze darted around the room, and there, on the floor, lay my dresses… shredded.“No… No, this can’t be.”My hands trembled as I held the silk blanket tightly, afraid it would slip off my body. I turned toward the bathroom door, but there was no sound. Everything was quiet, one of those suffocating silences that made one’s heart race.My brain scrambled for answers as blurry memories from the previous night flooded in slowly.Last night had been splendid. It was my birthday; I had turned twenty, and my mate, the future Alpha of our pack, Ryan Crest, had pronounced me his Luna-to-be. Everything had happened so fast. One moment we were dancing and celebrating, and the next he was ravaging me behind closed doors.A moan rippled through me.“Fuck, Ryan,” I gasped as he panted heavily, his breathing fast, his waist moving rapidly as he slammed into me with reckless abandon, like a man un

Liora Ashwin I wasn’t given time to brace myself, to prepare for the pain, as guards stepped forward, chains chattering in their hands as they attached them to my wrists and legs like ceremonial beads. Not even one person objected. I watched familiar faces, mothers I had greeted, fathers I ran errands for, and girls I once played with, turn their faces away, tongues frozen within their mouths. Two guards dragged me to the center of the hall, their grips tight and painful, but I swallowed every cry. This was nothing compared to what was to come.I was forced to kneel, and without delay Alpha Eric announced, “Begin.”His voice cut through the hall, and the first whip sliced into my skin like a knife.“Ahh!” I cried, unable to hold back the pain.“Ryan, please… Liora has a weak wolf. She will die,” Selene cried, tugging into Ryan’s arms pitifully. But her charade irked me. It scratched at an uncomfortable itch beneath my skin. Unable to stand it anymore, I turned to her, my gaze cold.“

Liora Ashwin POVTwo days went by, and nothing was heard from my mysterious savior. He came around, but only when I was asleep, which I was most often. My body was weak, and I needed as much rest as possible. The herbs weren’t helping much; most of them knocked me out. Though highly nutritious for the baby, they made me drowsy and weak.I was fast getting used to the healer’s calm eyes and her lips that never seemed to move, yet words spilled out. But like always, that calmness did not last.By sundown of the second day, I lay on my bed just after my bath. I felt a little energetic, so I lay down, watching shadows pass by under the small opening of the door. My mind still lingered on his words, but my body wouldn’t let me think much on it. It was too exhausted, even for that. The door creaked open, and an unfamiliar figure stepped in. Her blonde hair spilled over her back, her radiant skin sparkled even under the dimmed light, and her honey-like eyes swept through the room as if inspe

Liora Ashwin POVWolves howled in the distance. My eyes blinked before fully regaining sight. The curtains were drawn, the room dimmer than I remembered, and above me was Helene, fidgeting with some herbs.“Oh my, you’re awake,” she said, relief visible in those calm eyes of hers.I tried sitting up, but my body jerked violently. My hands instantly flew to my neck. There was no wound, but the skin where I had been marked burned as though hot liquid had been poured on it.“Ahhh… make it stop,” I begged, my other hand trembling as it tightened on the silk sheets.“You have to accept it,” I heard Helene’s voice echo, distant and hollow.I shook my head. “No… please, make it stop,” I cried, tears streaming down my face. My body trembled, sweat soaking into the sheets. I felt as though I was dying.I didn’t want this kind of control over my life. I wanted to be free, to leave and make my own decisions. I wasn’t about escaping one cage only to enter another, but the mark was stronger than I

Liora AshwinTwo days of endless pain, caged like a bird and wanting nothing but to break free. I woke up to the now familiar curtains. The room smelled of him, but there was no sign of him. Kael Veyron. Every night, he would come back when I was asleep and leave before I woke up. I had learned we couldn’t stay in different rooms; the traditions and laws of the land forbid a Luna and her Alpha from not sharing the same space. But the truth between us wasn’t that simple.I wasn’t some teenager who fell in love or met her mate on her eighteenth birthday and was claimed. No. I was a woman who had seen the darkest part of the world. I was tossed and thrown out, and now I was one without value, yet he was fighting wars to keep me… why?My skin felt warm and ticklish at the thought of him, and my wolf… well, the traitor was basking in the glow like a newly ripened banana. In the back of my mind, she yawned, stretched, and smiled like we weren’t sitting in an enemy’s camp with no way of esca
