Anessa’s povThe rain started to clear up as Darius looked at me with a smile.“Shall we go home? It’s getting late. We should start moving. It looks like the rain isn’t going to stop anytime soon.”I chuckled because he was right, it looked like the rain would keep on falling and I wasn’t expecting us to stay here forever.We had stayed here for at least one hour and thirty minutes drinking, eating, laughing and talking, exchanging some stories that were in our past.Of course I knew that the stories he told me were surface stories, stories that didn’t really make any sense but they were there.“All right, let’s go,” I said, getting to my feet as he nodded then paid for the bill before we slowly walked out to see that the drizzle had slowed but not outrightly stopped.I looked at the clear skies, no clouds in sight.“It’s beautiful tonight,” I said, before holding the jacket around me even tighter, “and cold.”He chuckled.I looked at him, “aren’t you cold?”“No,” he shook his head.
