"Lily—" Emma's voice came out, sharp and steady."I'm not giving you my blessing," Lily said immediately, firmly, in the voice of someone establishing terms. "Don't make it that. It's not mine to give and honestly, the idea that you'd need it is a little insulting to everyone involved."Emma almost smiled."But—" Lily squeezed her hand once, tight and real. "I'm not in the way.
