Ava's POV I cleared my throat softly, “hi." I said, finally deciding to pick the call just before it ended. "Have you had breakfast?” He asked, "something urgent came up at the company…once I'm done handling it, I'll come back." I nodded, not trusting my voice to not betray me but that only made him worry since he couldn't see me. “Are you sure you're fine?
