I wasn’t sure when we got back. However, I never did go back to sleep. Once Piercy was knocked out, I slipped out from under his arm. Putting on one of his button ups, I needed coffee. The clock said it was just after five and the sun will be rising soon. I had just sat down on the balcony with my coffee when I heard Piercy’s alarm go off.
