Semua Bab The Alpha's forgotten Luna: His Loss, her throne: Bab 1 - Bab 10

Ivy's PovThe door clicked shut behind him and I sat there at that kitchen table staring at the divorce papers still unsigned under my hands, and I thought about how five years of my life had just walked out to go check on another woman without even waiting to hear what I had to say.My phone buzzed on the table. I looked down at it.Noah: If you still want pheromones, stop making unnecessary trouble and just be good.I read it twice then I smiled, I deleted the entire conversation thread. Every message. Every one-word reply he had bothered to send me in the last three days.He had been using pheromones against me for years. An Alpha's pheromones are not just a comfort to a pregnant omega — they are a necessity. They help the fetus develop properly or without them, a werewolf baby struggles. Noah knew that and he used it the same way someone uses a leash, releasing it just enough to keep me grateful, pulling it back the moment I stopped being convenient. Every time I tried to stand up

Chapter FourIvy's Pov I should have walked away. He was a stranger, bleeding out between two trees at the edge of pack territory, and every sensible thought in my head was telling me that a man this badly injured at the border could be a rogue or a criminal trying to flee but my feet wouldn't move in the other direction. My wolf was restless inside me, pacing low and quiet, a soft continuous growl that wasn't aggression. I pulled the small medical kit from my bag. I always carried one when I came here. The path to my mother's grave was uneven and overgrown and I had twisted my ankle on it more than once. I crouched a few feet away from him first, just watching, trying to get a read on how conscious he actually was.Even with his face half in shadow and with that much blood soaked into his clothes, I could see the shift happen the moment I got close. His body stiffened. One hand pressed harder into the dirt. His head turned toward me slowly, and through whatever haze of pain and bl

Ivy's POVThe knock came at eight in the morning.I was still in my oversized grey sleep shirt, hair pulled up in a messy bun, holding a half-empty mug of tea I hadn't actually tasted yet. I pulled the door open without thinking and immediately wished I hadn't.Amy stood in the hallway looking like she had been styled for a magazine. Cream silk blouse, tailored tan trousers, her honey-blonde hair falling in soft waves over her shoulders. She smelled like Noah's cologne. She always did.I moved to close the door. Her foot shot out and blocked it."Really, Ivy?" She tilted her head with that soft smile she had perfected over years of use. "That's how we're doing this?""Move your foot, Amy.""I just want to talk.""I don't." I pushed against the door. She pushed back, and for someone who performed fragility as a full-time career, she held the frame surprisingly well."Noah was with me last night," she said pleasantly, like she was commenting on the weather. "All night and he didn't even

Ivy's PovWe had no choice but to follow his orders and the pack mansion was already full when we arrived.I don't know how they found out so fast. Half the pack was gathered in the main hall by the time the guards walked us through the front doors, and the murmuring started the moment I stepped inside. I kept my chin up and my eyes forward and told myself it didn't matter. It mattered….It always mattered no matter how many times I told myself it didn't.Noah was already pacing when we walked in. He had removed his jacket and his sleeves were pushed up and he had that look on his face, jaw tight, eyes dark, the one that used to make me want to fix whatever was wrong before it got worse. I had spent five years learning to read his moods and adjusting myself accordingly. I was done adjusting. The moment he saw me, he stopped pacing."What happened to my heir?"His voice carried across the entire hall. Every conversa

Ivy's POVMy hands wouldn't stop shaking.I stood in the middle of that hall and watched Noah announce the punishment like he was reading a grocery list, and something inside me — the last small piece that had still, stupidly, been hoping he would come back to himself l, just quietly died.Five years. I had loved this man for five years."No." I stepped forward before the guards could move towards Liam. "No, you are not doing this. You said you'd take my punishment, that wasn't — I'm not letting you do this for me."The stranger looked at me and his grey eyes were completely steady. "I said what I said.""You don't even know me.""I know enough.""You'll be flogged," I said and my voice cracked on the word. "Fifty strokes. That's what pack law says, fifty, and then the dungeon and you don't even — you're not even from this pack, you don't have to do this, please—""Ivy." He said my n
