Two weeks had passed gracefully, nothing bad had happened everything was peacefully. Sophia had just reached thirty weeks of pregnancy. According to her doctor,every additional day the baby stayed safely inside gave him a stronger start and anyday can be the day she should always watch out for signs and how her body is reacting to things most especially she should pay close attention to the baby. Damien treated those words like law, he obeyed every single instructions and makes Sophia follows them too. If Sophia stood for too long he advised her to stand up and take a walk or light exercise. He was always beside her. If she yawned…he suggested a nap, if she reached for something on a high shelf, he had already taken it down, infact he assist her even in little things.“You have become impossible”. The conference room at Reyes & Partner was already filled when Sophia walked in immediately she entered,the senior associates stood and the juniors lawyers exchanged relieved glances. They were so happy to see her because they knew that the case would come out successfully. The atmosphere was tense and on the large screen at the front of the room were photographs of financial reports and newspaper headlines about their client. The firm's client CEO of Langford industries had been arrested at dawn on allegations of corporate fraud and embezzlement. The media had already declared him guilty. Sophia placed her briefcase on the table.“Tell me everything”. The Day They Awaited

It was a warm Saturday morning,they were still in bed. The Hales estate was usually quiet and this was three days after Sophia had the final court appearance. The sunlight beaned through the bedroom curtains brightly. For a moment everything felt normal, then suddenly Sophia felt a sharp pain striking her lower abdomen “Maybe it's the Braxton Hicks”. She frowned her face, squeezing it hard a little. She then calm herself down and took a long deep breath to ease her nerves and the discomfort faded within few minutes just as she had expected. She smiled and carefully climbed out from bed.Damien was surprised when he saw her downstairs. He was preparing breakfast before she could wake up.“Ooh! You awoke”?.
