Lia's POVThe words hung in the air for a second. The room felt a little heavier after that. Lola’s smile stayed, but it looked smaller now, more careful. I could feel the tension rising between them like a quiet wave. Victor stayed standing nearby, his hands in his pockets, watching quietly with that steady look he always had. No one said anything for a moment, and the air felt thick with everything that wasn’t being said out loud.I glanced around at everyone’s faces and decided it was time to break the silence. I cleared my throat gently and spoke up, keeping my voice light so the moment wouldn’t feel so heavy.“Why don’t we all go get some ice cream?” I suggested. “It might be nice to celebrate a little after… everything.”Dante looked over at me, then down at Matteo. His expression softened again, the tension easing from his shoulders.“Would you like some ice cream, buddy?” he asked Matteo, his voice warm.Matteo’s face lit up immediately. He nodded so fast his hair bounced, and

Victor's POV After I left the private lobby at the hospital, I walked through the quiet hallways with my hands in my pockets, the soft echo of my shoes on the polished floor the only sound for a moment. The place still smelled faintly of antiseptic and fresh flowers, but I barely noticed it. My mind was already somewhere else. I pushed open the heavy glass doors and stepped out into the afternoon sun. The warmth hit my face, but it did nothing to ease the tight knot that had been sitting in my chest since the DNA results came back. I had held everything in for Dante’s sake. I had smiled for Matteo, hugged my son, and kept my face calm while my blood boiled underneath. But now that I was alone, the rage started to rise again, hot and sharp. I got into my car, the leather seat cool against my back as I shut the door. The engine started with a low, steady rumble, and I pulled out of the parking lot, merging into the flow of traffic. The city streets were busy, cars honking softly in the

Lia’s POVHe walked straight to me, slipped one hand around my waist, and pulled me flush against him. His fingers dug lightly into my hip.“Fuck, you look beautiful,” he said, his voice low and rough. “This dress is dangerous, baby girl. You’re going to drive us both crazy tonight.”Then he leaned in and kissed me. It started soft, but it didn’t stay that way. His mouth opened against mine, and his tongue slid in deep and slow, tasting me like he had been waiting all day for it. I felt the heat of his body through the thin fabric of my dress, and the solid press of his chest against my breasts made my nipples tighten. When he finally pulled back, his eyes were darker than before, and his breathing was a little uneven.“Come on,” he said, taking my hand. His fingers laced through mine, warm and possessive. “Before I decide to skip dinner and take you upstairs myself.”He led me to the elevator. I expected him to press the button for Victor’s floor, but instead he hit the one marked fo

Lia’s POVMy heart felt so full it could burst. The tears welled up in my eyes, hot and heavy, blurring the soft candlelight on the rooftop table. The cool night breeze brushed against my cheeks, carrying the sweet scent of the white roses and the distant hum of the city far below. I looked at Victor and Dante, my voice shaking as the words finally came out. “I love you both so much,” I whispered, my throat tight with emotion. “I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Both of you. I don’t want anything else. Just this. Just us. You two are everything to me.”Victor’s blue eyes softened, filling with something deep and warm that made my chest ache. He reached across the table slowly, like he was afraid to break the moment. Dante’s dark gaze locked on mine, his jaw tight like he was holding back his own emotions. Neither of them said anything right away. They just looked at me, really looked, like they were seeing straight into my soul. The silence stretched, filled only by the gen

Lia’s POV Victor moved beside the bed, loosening his tie with slow, deliberate fingers. The sound of the silk sliding through his collar was soft and intimate. “Close your eyes for me, babygirl,” he said in that low, commanding voice that always made me melt. He leaned over and gently tied the tie around my eyes, the smooth fabric cool and soft against my skin. It blocked out the light completely, heightening everything else—the sounds of their breathing, the faint scent of their colognes, the feel of the sheets under me. “Relax,” he whispered, his lips brushing my temple. “Just feel us. Let us take care of you.”Moments later, I felt something cold circling my nipple. It was an ice cube, smooth and wet, gliding slowly over the sensitive peak. My nipple pebbled immediately, hardening into a tight little bud under the cold touch. The contrast of the icy chill against my warm skin made me gasp softly. The ice cube moved in slow circles, teasing the hard tip, and I arched my back a litt
