Serephine’s POV“Be careful!” she warned, a little too late. I had already slammed into a man, splashing the scalding liquid over both of us. The tray slipped out of my hands, clattering to the ground with a deafening bang. Without hesitation, I lifted the hem of my baggy garment and frantically wiped the liquid smeared over his body. Serephine’s POVI stood before him, battered and barely able to support my own weight. His eyes scanned me with vicious disdain, before he reached toward Camden, spreading his fingers wide. Camden placed dark colored gloves into his palm . Alpha Chase locked his fingers around it and withdrew his hand. Then, he slid it over his hand like a second flesh, smoothing it down until it gripped his fingers and palms seamlessly. “Get down!” Alpha Chase’s voice thundered.
