Lahat ng Kabanata ng DEAR HUSBAND, I'M DONE: Kabanata 121 - Kabanata 130

ELENA'S POV Mrs. Jane Hudson," I said breathlessly.I hadn’t really been expecting anyone, but Adrian’s stiff, refined, arrogant, and painfully blunt mother was definitely the last person I expected to see.Without asking if she could come in or even acknowledging that I had greeted her, she pushed past me at the door and strutted into the apartment, her rich and expensive perfume lingering in the air.I remained by the door, frozen in shock. Ever since I divorced Adrian and left their house, I had completely pushed Jane and all her cruelty and hostility out of my mind, until now. Suddenly, every memory came flooding back, especially the day I first met her.“Where are you taking me today, Adrian?I asked, smiling happily as I sat with Adrian in his brand-new car.He insisted on seeing me, so as usual, I left the house with my usual excuse that I had something to do at Jacinta's house.Care to take a guess?” Adrian said playfully, his fingers resting against my exposed thigh while my

ADRIAN'S POV Yes, make sure everything is delivered to the address attached to the order,” Adrian said on the call.He had just placed an order for a few items for Elena, things meant to make her more comfortable for the time being. This time, he was using his personal money, he did not want any interference or scrutiny over his finances, especially his mother.Adrian was still unsettled about the large amount Sophie transferred from the family account. It was the first time she had ever done something like that, and he was even more shocked that his mother supported her or was she involved too? He couldn’t figure it out.“What on earth did she spend that money on?” Adrian wondered, deeply troubled. “What could she possibly have needed it for?” he thought. He could feel a mild headache building as he struggled to understand why she would do such a thing, especially since Sophie was already fully provided for. She had everything at her disposal, luxury spa visits, shopping outings,

ELENA'S POV Why on earth would you do that?” Jacinta asked, looking completely stunned, but before I could reply, the knock sounded again.I turned and opened the door, only to find the delivery lady still standing there.“Pardon me, ma’am, but you’re Elena, correct? And you know Mr. Adrian Hudson?” she asked.Yes, and yes, but I still don’t want any of them,” I said firmly, my tone coming out harsher than I intended, though I was already irritated to care anymore. Ma’am, everything has already been paid for, I assure you, and they were specially requested,” she insisted. Can’t you hear what I’m saying?” I lashed out, making her recoil in surprise.I was only doing my job,” she said, sounding far less forceful now.Well, I guess she finally realized there was no convincing me to accept something I had already made clear I didn’t want in the first place. Jacinta quickly stepped in front of me, right in the middle of the tension building between us.“Um, I’m really sorry about her beh

DANIELLE'S POV You’ve always been sweet, Danielle, Daniel said after getting off Danielle 's body.Without replying, I slipped out of bed and headed to the bathroom to freshen up. She didn’t stay long because she badly wanted to leave the place. Soon, she stepped out, grabbed her bag, and prepared to go.“No tip?” Daniel asked, staring at Danielle with a teasing grin.“For what?” Danielle replied, annoyed.“Well, I was the one doing all the work, Danielle, while you just remained there like a statue,” Daniel remarked. His words could have upset Danielle if she hadn’t known Daniel well enough and understood the nature of their arrangement. She purposely did nothing because, in truth, this situation favored Daniel more than her. You’ve already received enough of a tip, Daniel. You just got close to a rising star; you should appreciate that,” Danielle said. She would rather cling to a tree than give her money to anyone. Besides, if she had the option, she would have simply paid Sophie

ELENA'S POV More than ever, I was prepared to do exactly what everyone expected of me, get the money needed to save Zach from Adrian Hudson. In some ways, they were right. If I hadn’t decided to go with Adrian, my father might never have suffered his first cardiac arrest, and Zach would not have been forced to borrow money from the king lord. The days were passing far too quickly, constantly reminding me that my time was running out. Thinking about it all brought back memories of the very first time they all found out about Adrian. That afternoon , I had been in my room when Adrian called. I quickly closed the door, and if I had known , I never would have done it, because one of the rules they strictly enforced on me was never to close my door. I had a dressing room where I handled all the girly things I wanted to be done privately or without being interrupted, but my actual bedroom was never to be locked.Hello,” I greeted with a bright smile when I picked Adrian’s call.Hi, Ele
