Cassie pov The morning light filtered through the curtains of my new bedroom. I lay between the three of them, their warm bodies creating a protective cocoon around me. Even after everything that had happened, their presence still made my heart flutter. But as I stared at the ceiling, a heavy weight settled in my chest. The constant threats, the security teams, the fear, it was all becoming too much. I shifted slightly, wincing at the lingering soreness in my body. Asher stirred first, his arm tightening around my waist. “Morning, beautiful,” he murmured, pressing a kiss to my shoulder. “How are you feeling?” “Better,” I lied softly. “But… we need to talk.” Luka and Caspian woke up to my words.
