In Chelsington, Mathias and Ethan are regrouping. They grew very comfortable using Xavier's resources and enjoying his luxurious lifestyle while plotting against him. Now, they are forced to think about money and change their plans quickly. Now that Xavier already knows about Mathias, they have to hurry up and take control of the mines from Xavier. "Dad, I tried contacting Susan. She is not responding to my texts or calls. I am having a bad feeling about this," Ethan shared with worry. But Mathias looked unaffected. "What's there to worry about? Worst-case, Xavier might have found out that she works for us. But I doubt that. Our acting skills over the years have been top-notch. He didn't suspect a thing. Moreover, Susan is pretending to be innocent and pitiful. Xavier seems to like that kind of woman. Look at how obsessed he is with Iris. So I am sure he will go soft on Susan even if he finds out that she is our spy. She will be safe," Mathias said confidently. Ethan frowned. He

In Chelsington, Xavier and Iris were going to the airport to pick up Benjamin and Catherine. "I think Mom had a chat with Dad," Iris guessed. "Looks like it," Xavier replied. Xavier was chatting with Iris, but his mind was on Mathias. His enemy was deceptively calm. Xavier was thinking about what he must be planning. Just then, he received a call from Hansen. "Hansen, did she reveal anything?" Xavier came directly to the point. Now Hansen and Xavier are friends. They both share the same goal. Destroy Mathias and protect what belongs to them. So destroying Mathias is their pressing matter now. "Yes, she did. She was not very cooperative at first. But Shannon scared her a little. She relented eventually. But she is quite useless. She doesn't know much. All she knows is that Mathias kept you alive, so he was hoping to control us using you. Because he knows that the Naga tribe is impossible to control, this is the same technique he used in your grandfather's case, and then you

After leaving the Knights' residence, Xavier settled down in his waiting car. He could hear the questions of the Knights aimed at Arthur and Desmond. But he ignored everything. He would definitely deal with Desmond for his worst choices and for putting his family in danger. But first, getting rid of Mathias matters most. He texted Monroe the address of the house where Mathias is hiding. Xavier wants the house surrounded, making sure that neither Monroe nor his men should alert Mathias or Ethan. 'It's a pity that Mathias really underestimated me despite knowing me for so long. He knows how ruthless I can be. He killed my mother and my grandfather. If he thinks he can still escape, he is dreaming,' he thought with barely restrained anger. Within half an hour, Xavier reached the suburbs where Mathias was hiding. Just then, as if sensing his intentions, he received a call from the Mayor himself. "Mr. Mayor," Xavier greeted calmly. "Xavier Knight, I heard your company is about to be

"Start torturing her," Mathias instructed. Immediately, the men started to kick and punch the girl in the Duvet. The girl's screams echoed through the screen's speakers. "Ahh..., no, stop," the girl's voice rang loudly. Xavier looked calm, much to Mathias and Ethan's shock. They both knew how much he loved Iris. So his attitude was unexpected. Little did they know that they were about to receive an unpleasant surprise instead. As the men threw ice-cold water on the girl wrapped up in a duvet, the girl gasped with shock and started to struggle to free herself from the duvet. No one helped her, though. They watched her struggle in silence. But once she successfully managed to free herself, both Ethan and Mathias looked stunned. The girl was not Iris, but Susan. "No," Ethan cried out in alarm. Mathias struggled to compose himself. "Susan?" he muttered. Xavier smirked. "What? Why did they stop? Tell them to torture your dear daughter," he taunted. Mathias fisted the gun

Chelsington is shaken to its core. The silent threat gripping the elite was destroyed. Mayors, Senators, the FBI chief, businessmen, and almost everyone who was useful to Mathias had been pawns and slaves to that former Naga tribal man. Mathias moved smoothly while silently gathering strength. When his strength reached almost its peak, Xavier discovered his deception. Mathias was not expecting Xavier to make his moves so quietly and quickly, yet effectively. Mathias knew Xavier was smart and strong. But he underestimated Xavier's strength. Unlike Mathias, Xavier needs no one. He didn't hesitate to plan and implement. His actions were swift and tactical. Xavier knows that he has to make his moves before Mathias does. And so he did. Within four days of finding out who his enemy is, Xavier killed him. And overnight, he became a man whom everyone in Chelsington fears. Mathias was nothing less than a terror in the hearts of everyone who is something in Chelsington. But Xavier eliminated
