Lahat ng Kabanata ng THE ALPHA'S FORBIDDEN MATE : Kabanata 1 - Kabanata 10

Mia's POV I kicked my feet to the sound of the music as mummy and daddy sang along. Mummy always made Daddy play my favorite song every time we were on a road trip, but today was a very special day so daddy didn't complain. "Happy birthday, baby girl" Daddy said as he turned to look at me. I giggled. "Our baby girl's six today. You're a big girl now, aren't you?" Mummy said and stretched her hand to touch my knees. Then she suddenly gasped. "Micah! He just kicked" I leaned forward excitedly. I loved when Daddy rubbed Mummy's tummy cause it made mummy laugh and her laugh was beautiful. That was the last beautiful moment I had of mummy and daddy. I remember a bright light hitting our car. A terrifying scream. When I opened my eyes again, I saw mummy, blinking slowly, blood on her face. So much blood. I couldn't move, I slowly turned my head and realized I was upside down. "Mumm-y" I manage to say, as I felt dizzy. I looked again and saw Daddy, his eyes were closed. His body

Xavier's POV I have found my mate...at long last. The only problem now was Ember. She stood in front of me, arms crossed, her expression unreadable - but her eyes… her eyes burned. “You marked her?” she asked quietly. Too quietly. I exhaled slowly. “You already know the answer to that.” Her jaw tightened. “No. I want to hear you say it.” Silence stretched between us. “I did.” Her expression faltered just for a second. “So what am I now?” Her voice cracked despite her effort to hold it steady. “What does that make me to you?” Nothing. The word sat at the back of my throat, but I didn’t say it. “I made it clear, Ember,” I said instead, my tone colder now. “You are not my mate.” The slap came fast. Sharp. Loud. My head barely moved, but the sting lingered. For a second, neither of us spoke. Then I moved. My hand wrapped around her throat, pushing her back just enough to remind her without effort who she was dealing with. Her breath hitched, but she didn’t look away. Her ey

POV I stood by the window, letting the wind play with my hair. It was the only time I felt anything close to peace since arriving in my enemy's territory. No pain. No visits from the Alpha. Nothing. Just silence. A knock came at the door. Once. Then again. "Come in," I said. An elderly woman walked in, carrying a tray of food. "Take it away," I muttered. "I'm not hungry." "Please, Miss. You haven't eaten in two days-" "Where is your Alpha?" She hesitated, her lips parting before any words came out. Then she straightened slightly. "Should I inform him you wish to see him?" I exhaled slowly. "Yes... then I'll eat." A small smile crossed her face before she nodded and left. I didn't have to wait long. Barely a minute later, there was another knock. And then-He walked in. He paused at the door for a second before closing it gently behind him. And suddenly, regret settled in my chest. Why did I call him? I turned back to the window, refusing to face him. Silence stretch

EMBER'S POV The curve of my stomach was no longer easy to hide. I smiled at my reflection, running my hands slowly over the small bump. “Pregnancy looks good on you.” Julio’s hands slipped around my waist from behind, his lips brushing lightly against my shoulder. I let out a soft breath, leaning back into him. “Of course it does,” I said, a small smile playing on my lips. “I look good in anything.” His touch lingered, growing more familiar… more dangerous. “Julio—” I started, but my words caught as he lifted me effortlessly and laid me against the bed. “You’re too tempting,” he murmured. A soft laugh escaped me, but as his lips traced upward, I felt it—that pull again. And that was exactly the problem. “Julio… stop.” I pushed gently against him and sat up, smoothing down my gown. He went still. I avoided his gaze. “I’ll just leave,” he said quietly. I grabbed his wrist before he could move. “Why are you leaving?” “It feels like you’re in love with the Alpha.” I rolle

XAVIER'S POV I narrowed my eyes, inspecting the markings on the wooden bow in my hands. It would do. A small exhale left me as I set it down and wiped my hands with a clean cloth. The perfect gift for her… if she would accept it. The soft click of the door pulled my attention instantly. I turned sharply. The room was dim, shadows stretching across the walls—but I could make out a figure standing by the entrance. Mia. My brows drew together. Why is she here… this early? I moved toward her slowly. Something was wrong. Her eyes were open… but unfocused. Blank. She wasn’t seeing me. Heat radiated from her body, and beads of sweat clung to her skin. Sleepwalking. “It… hurts,” she whispered weakly. “Everywhere…” “Mia.” I reached her just as her body gave out. She collapsed into my arms. I caught her quickly, lifting her with ease and placing her gently on the bed. “Mia,” I called, shaking her lightly. She gasped suddenly, her eyes snapping open. The moment she saw
