RIDER POVI’ve never been the jealous type.I don’t compete with guys,I don’t watch other men and wonder what they have that I don’t.So I don’t understand why I keep noticing Taylor. He’s like a brother to me yet I’m still jealous about his relationship with Daniella. It starts with her laughter. It drifts down the hallway and slips under my office door like it belongs there. Soft, unrestrained and real. She doesn’t laugh like that with me.With me, she’s careful, and always has her guard up.But with Taylor? She sounds free.I tell myself it doesn’t matter. Taylor is loyal. If there’s one man in this building I trust around her, it’s him. That should be enough, but it wasn’t. I step out of my office and there they are again. Taylor leaning against her desk like he owns the space and Daniella looking up at him with that light in her eyes. She nudges his arm, and he laughs. My jaw tightens before I can stop it.They’re standing too close, not inappropriately and also not obvious.

DANIELLA POVSomewhere between the awkward silence and the stolen glance, things shifted. We never talked about the elevator. We didn’t bother confronting each other. No “what are we?” conversation. It was a quiet understanding, and I’ll never be more glad because honestly, I don’t have any words to describe how I feel. Rider stopped pretending it didn’t happen, and I stopped pretending his actions didn’t affect me.The way he started standing closer again to me, gave me butterflies in my stomach and I could never stop the blush appearing on my face. The way his fingers would brush mine when handing over files, not accidentally but Intentionally and he’ll smirk at me, like he already knows what his touch does to me. The way he’d hold my gaze a second longer than necessary, like he wasn’t ready for me to leave his side. The tension didn’t disappear, rather it softened and settled. We became the talk of the entire office, but this time around, I could care less. I wanted Rider, and

DANIELLA POVIf someone had told me before now that I would be sitting on my living room floor, laughing with Jordan like we were some chaotic sitcom cast, I would have laughed in their face. But here I was, comfortable, warm, happy and laughing with Taylor, Lilian and also Jordan in the living room over crazy things. I was also dangerously in love, and it’s no surprise that I’m head over heels for Rider. Rider and I didn’t have a label. No “boyfriend.” No “girlfriend.” No public announcement, and nothing official. But the way he looked at me? The way his hand always found mine when we were alone? The way my body reacted to just the sound of his voice?. A label couldn’t name the feelings I had for him. We had stopped fighting whatever feelings we had, and finally accepted the fact that our love was meant to be. We were just us, living in our personal world. That evening started extremely normal. Lilian and I were in the living room, dressed in our pajamas, arguing about what to or

DANIELLA POVWhen the car stopped, my heart beat had already skyrocketed. I’m not used to surprises, and I was already too anxious. “What did he plan?.” “Was it going to be a terrible night?.” My heart wasn’t even helping matters. Okay calm the fuck down Daniella, it’s Rider , and he doesn’t plan things foolishly so it’s gonna be alright. I took a deep breath, and calmed down.He stepped out and came around to help me.His hand wrapped securely around mine.Slowly, he removed the blindfold.Light flooded my vision and I had to blink about 4 times to adjust to the light. I gasped. We stood in front of one of the most luxurious five-star restaurants in town.Mirazur cuisine was a place where only the wealthiest people visited. The kind I had only admired from afar.Stepping into the restaurant, my breath seized. The interior decor was way out of this world. I couldn’t imagine standing in such a luxurious place. Golden lights illuminated the building, chandeliers sparkled inside. Vale

DANIELLA POVBy the time we got to the office, my nerves had settled already, It wasn’t gone, just quieter and just enough to overcome what today had in store for me. I turned to him, my fingers gripping my bag slightly before I let go and leaned in.I wrapped my arms around him.“Thank you,” I murmured softly. For showing up, for making this feel real, for making me feel chosen and heard. I can’t thank you enough Rider for choosing me.He didn’t respond with words. He didn’t need to. I was okay with him just being there for me and his reassurance. He leaned forward, and looked at my lips. Before I knew what was going on, he kissed me. It was soft, slow and intentional. My breath caught as I melted into it, my fingers found its way to his hair, and I tugged at it as if I needed something to hold onto. The kiss deepened slightly, his hand brushing against my waist, pulling me closer to him, and I couldn’t hold back my moan.“Mhmm Rider we need to stop anyone could pass by and see us
