DANIELLA POVI don't know how long I sat in that room. Time had stopped meaning anything normal. Sophia's hands were still warm around mine at some point and then they weren't, she'd been pulled away by someone needing her, and one of the other women sat with me instead, quietly, but not overstepping her boundaries and not trying to push me to talk, just present, and I sat there and stared at the same spot on the wall until someone told me it was over. Like that was a word that made sense for what had just happened. After a while, I crashed on the woman's shoulder. Too weak to fight the sleep. By the time I woke up, I was already in a room. I don't remember getting up. I don't remember walking out of that room. I just remember waking up in a room, with Rider beside me and and the house was quiet again, eerily quiet, like the place hadn't just been full of wolves twenty minutes ago, and there were people moving through the wreckage of whatever had happened, fixing things, checking on

RIDER POVI had sat in my office for almost two hours without working or using my cell phone. I hadn’t done any work in the past two hours. I had simply sat in my office looking like an idiot without doing anything productive, while everyone else was moving inside the pack house like there was nothing wrong at all, but there was something actually wrong.I had thought of what happened almost forty times but repeating did not make it easier. The expression on her face when I changed my position. The particular expression on her face which was neither exactly of fear nor something lesser than fear. It was like the ground had simply vanished from underneath her while she was standing on it, and then the scream followed by my mum dragging her into the safe room and the door closing while I was standing there in the middle of a rogue attack thinking about nothing but that look on her face.Jordan came to check up on me in my office, but I did not bother responding . After about 40 minut

DANIELLA POV“Come on Lilian I don’t want to leave the house.”“You can’t tell me you don’t plan on leaving this house at all Daniella. You can’t keep sulking indoors and getting extremely paranoid.. you need fresh air bitch.”“Ughhh Lilian you’re not going to give up are you?” I asked, extremely tired of her rantings. “No baby. Where is it written that a goddess like me should give up.” She smirked at me, knowing fully well she had won this argument I looked at her, completely tired. “I just need to rest Lilian, I’ll be starting work soon again, and honestly the thought is just overwhelming.” I said to her, heading to my room, but she blocked my way immediately and stood in front of my door. "We're going out bitch and that’s final. I can’t have you sulking in this house and turning a blind eye towards it." she stated, not even leaving room for debates anymore. “And in case you don’t know, I’ve already made bookings and reservations for today, and I can’t reschedule. Do you want

DANIELLA POVI didn’t bother trying to sleep, I was already scared. I stared at the necklace in my hands, trying to understand what was really happening. I think I need to have a conversation with Rider, he’ll probably understand what’s going on with me, since all these started since I found out he wasn’t fully human. I stood up from my bed, and headed to the bathroom to have a very exclusive shower time. By the time I was done, I went to iron the clothes Lilian had brought out for me. If I was going to go back to work, I’ll have to be a sexy diva while at it. By the time I was done dressing up, it was already 7:00. I still had two hours before work started. I headed downstairs, and decided to prepare pancakes and French toast for Lilian and I. By the time I was done preparing the pancakes, Lilian came downstairs, already dressed for work.“Ouu we’re having a feast..” she said as she walked over to where I was. I just laughed at her words, as I started preparing the French toast.

TAYLOR POV “Daniella!! Daniella!!” I screamed, as I came out of the car. Our car had been hit, and it crashed. “Tt..aylor.. where are you…” I heard Daniella’s voice coming from the back of the car. I ran towards there and saw her on the floor and was covered in blood, but it wasn’t hers. Immediately she sighted me, she ran towards me. “Taylor.. you’re alive.,” she sobbed into my arms, and my heart softened a bit. “What happened here? Are you good?” I asked her and she shook her head and continued to cry in my arms. “I just want to go home.. take me home Taylor.. please .” She begged, and I just sighed. We were already close to the forest, and also far away from civilization. I took her hand, and led her towards the forest. I had gotten a leg injury, and my arm was bleeding badly from the car crash. By the time we got to the forest, Daniella started whining about being tired, and suggested we should rest for a while. Although I didn’t like the idea, I had to make he
