Chapter 61 Jared’s POV When I make it to the torture room Susan is sitting in a chair with a silver laced whip in one hand and a glass of what I think is wine in the other. Her black hair is down in waves against her pale white skin. Her lips are red, but her normally green eyes are black. The black bodysuit she is wearing is hiding the blood stains I can smell. “What has he told you?” I ask stepping in. “He wanted to prove you are not the man you claim to be. He wanted the pack to see you as weak. He killed Patrick because Patrick was loyal to you,” She takes a long drink of wine. “Beta ordered me not to kill him.
