June's pov "Put that photograph down, June."Nathan’s voice didn't sound like him at all. It was too quiet. Instead of putting it down, I gripped the silver frame tighter. "You three looked really close," I whispered, looking from the bright, laughing faces in the picture to the dark, rigid expression on his face. "You, Blake, and Parker. What did you do to each other?"Nathan didn't answer with words. In two long strides, he crossed the floor of the loft. Before I could even blink, his large hand clamped over mine, his long fingers forcing my grip off the silver frame. He used his bulk to crowd me, pressing his chest right against mine until the small of my back hit the bookshelf.
