CHAPTER 4ALEX “So my birthday is in two days and I'm throwing a party. If you don’t mind, I want you to make the canapes and cake. I’ll pay you for the service of course. I just love how good you make everything.” Lacy told me while she had breakfast alone and I got excited after hearing her offer. This was a good opportunity for me and I'd be damned if I let it pass me by.“Yeah, yeah. I would happily make the canapes and cake for your birthday, Lacy.
