SELENE'S POVI reached the entrance of the building and the door opened before I knocked.Sonia Adler was shorter than her voice carried. She looked like a woma in her forties. Her natural hair was pulled back tight with a face that stayed. She stepped back and let me in without a word and I did.The hallway was narrow with a single bulb overhead. She walked ahead of me into the front room and I followed, scanning as I moved. Two doors off the hallway, stairs ahead, no visible third person on this floor.
