1. Am I Not Enough?

Kelly’s nervous system was f*cked up. She was shaking, and her heart was bleeding. She felt like she was losing her mind. Of course, the first time in her life that she had fallen for someone, she had to be betrayed. How was this guy capable of acting as if what they had shared meant nothing? How was that even possible? “You can’t be serious, are you?” She asked him as they sat in the same place where it had all begun, the same park where they had sat for hours almost every night, getting to know each other. “This is the third month of us knowing each other, and you’re telling me that you’re gay?” She scoffed, holding back her tears. She felt like he did not deserve to see her cry…he did not deserve to see how much pain he had caused her. He did not deserve to see how broken she was right now, all because she did not want to lose him. It was pathetic, wasn’t it? Not wanting to lose someone who was never truly yours, to begin with. “There’s nothing wrong with being gay,” He replie

2. Destined?

When their hands connected, it was like magic. As corny as it sounded, this was exactly how they felt. Alex pulled away sooner than he wished, not because he did not like the feeling, but because he felt some guilt knowing that he already had a Luna. He was not the kind of man to cheat; if anything, he hated cheaters. So whatever mind game that was going on, he was definitely not going to entertain it. “I’m Kelly,” The omega said, sniffling. Her face was red, revealing that she was flustered and probably feeling what he was feeling as well. “Nice to meet you.” Her voice sounded so unique. But there was some pain behind those beautiful green eyes of hers. Alex could not ignore that he had a connection to this girl. And he did not particularly hate it, but he respected his mate even more. So he decided to put an end to this interaction as soon as he could. “Nice to meet you, Kelly,” He said in reply. Then he breathed out through his nostrils. “Well, I need to continue my jog for the

Kelly did not stop, though. She kept walking, feeling embarrassed to be seen like this. Omegas were usually seen as weak already; she did not want to reinforce that narrative. She did not want to feed the stereotype. So she rushed down that driveway, making her escape. “Kelly!” But as soon as the guy called after her, she stopped. Her legs became like cement, and she turned to see the Alpha makig his way towards her. “What are you doing? You saw me, didn’t you? Why are you running away from me?” He asked, worry tinged in his tone. He was breathing a bit harder than normal from chasing her. Before she could even say anything in response, he asked, “Are you okay? What happened?” Kelly was taken aback by this; she did not expect the Alpha to care this much about her. She felt a warmth filling her that she could not explain, even though the pain from what had happened still lingered. “I…” She contemplated telling the truth and explaining. But what was the use? Omegas were always going

4. The Oracle Ceremony

Alpha Alex stood there, in front of the mirror. After he was done with his cuff, he stared at his reflection. He could not help but chuckle sadly. He looked just like his father when the man was younger. And that made him sad. If the man had never gotten so sick, to the point of losing his memories and sense of self, he would have still been alpha, and Alex would have never taken over at such a young age. And if his mom had never died from that mysterious illness around the same time, he would not have been with Cassandra. But this was his life, and there was nothing he could do about it. All he had to do was endure for the pack, and in honor of his parents. It was not like he wanted to trap Cassandra; that was far from what he wanted. He was not even the one to blame. Her parents agreed to this, which was why they were together. He wished that he loved the girl; that would have made all this a bit easier. But he did not. Sighing, he ran his hand through his wavy brown hair, walki
